This one is the fourth swatch from the bottom in the picture. I have so many red filaments and they were always slightly too orange or too pink/magenta. Red is a very hard color to get right, just look at the early 'red' Smart Car that looks orange instead red instead. We have the same problem here too. After buying every red at Microcenter and failing, this is the best red Red of them all. HATCHBOX PLA has been my go-to choice for over 2 years, regardless of colors. I have a Prusa i3 Mk3 printer but not with the upgraded extruder (Mk3S). It still works well with my Prusa original. Highly recommendable filament and company. I have a real business, with a full CAD system, so the models I print are not toys, but must be functional as designed. I don't have any tolerance for a poor performing filament or printer, so HATCHBOX is good stuff. ... show more

I've tried several brands of filament (Anycubic..Elegoo.. Sunlu.. Jayo.. Esun) With my main being esun. I think I have a new favorite. It's so consistent, Ive tried hatchbox's matte line and had very good results from those so decided to try regular pla. At first I had a couple issues (underextrusion) But i had to adjust the tension little tighter and that solved the issues for me. Zero stringing whats so ever. The plastic is good, the one I god melts at a slightly higher temperature about 200 C vs 185 C. Sometimes has separation problems.

Not much I can really say about this filament. its standard PLA, and it works like standard PLA. It runs fine on my Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro. Although, I have encountered some bed adhesion problems, along with print warping.
