Great bed but the directions leave a little to be desired. I was so careful to look and. Understand them carefully and still ended up making 1 mistake attaching the back to the bed. You really have to watch and observe what you are doing. I still highly recommend it. Love the sliding barn doors and you can buy any brand under bed storage for extra space because it only comes with drawers for whatever part of the bed you want to install them to. Top or bottom. A few pieces were bent and the box was not bent so it looks like it was damaged from the factory. The bed had a lot of steps, but it put together nicely and the damage didn’t take away from the look of the bed too much so we opted to save the hassle for ourselves and keep it. I want to love this bed, it’s super cute but very small. My daughter is 11, almost 12 and I fear we may only get another 2 years out of this bed. It was not an easy bed to put together either. We spent a lot of time building it. A lot of chances to screw up, so take your time. Directions aren’t the clearest. The drawers that go under the bed are definitely cheap feeling, but they do the job. We store stuffed animals in there. The lights in the bed are a cute added touch. Lots of storage for things. This bed is adorable for my daughter. She is 17 but not very tall and it is just the right size for her. The only negative is that is it a lot to put together. It wasn't hard just a lot of small pieces that take a while so don't get in a hurry. Very happy with the bed!
