We initially loved this bed. Unfortunately, we can’t get rid of the strong chemical smell, which has lingered for over a week now. My son started complaining of headaches, and after sleeping in his room last night, I woke up with a headache as well due to the odor. This has been very disappointing.

This bed is cheap cheap cheap and a massive pain to put together. Furthermore, it smells horrifically of chemicals. So much so that it caused headaches and nausea. Please consider spending a little more $ and get something of better quality and more importantly...that is SAFE for your family to use. We purchased this bed for our toddler. The bed is a great size and sturdy. The main issue is that it seems to be off-gassing. It has taken at least a month for the smell to subside. My son was having respiratory issues from the first week.
