Over the holidays, the air mattress we used would not stay inflated and was not comfortable. We invested in this Murphy bed. It's so nice to have a good quality bed that stores away in an attractive cabinet when not in use. The memory foam mattress I bought may have been a tad too thick for the bed so my husband bought latches to help keep the bed folded. Worked perfectly. My husband is great at assembling things but it even took him quite a while to assemble. He made it a project and did it in stages over a couple days.

Completely absent customer service. A part broke during assembly and I have sent two emails to the company trying to order a replacement part. Now I have a partly assembled murphy bed taking up space unusable and with no way to complete it.

This takes the place of my regular bed and is sturdy, comfortable, and has a slightly larger footprint when the bed is down, which is amazing considering the space I get when it's folded up! I share a room and put it back in store mode this morning and it was easy and super quiet, so I am even more thrilled! I am planning to whitewash it since it doesn't quite go with my decor, but that's only about half an hour of my time to make something that's already perfect for my needs even more so!

We were looking for a space saver so we could use our room for multiple purposes. With this piece, we can use this room to accommodate guests when they come over and tuck the bed away when they leave. The icing on the cake is that it looks great. We love it!
