It's still in pieces so I can't say much more yet but everything is accounted for on the assembly list so once I get some friends to help me I'll update here.     • It must sit flush with the wall!!!
Instructions were not clear nor were the videos in the instructions. Screws were missing. We made do and chose to put screws where we thought the most weight would sit otherwise. It was a hard assemble and I am just frustrated by the end of it to find out that we probably have to junk it. The weight capacity says 600 lbs but I can hear it creak under my weight. It makes me nervous! I'm 240 lbs. The couch is super low to the ground, cushions are hard and thin. Most of all, I did not know it was pivotal that this type of bed to be flush with the wall. Otherwise, it leans forward massively and is very unsafe when unanchored. I read some stories on Reddit. Apparently, people have put themselves into the ER unconscious because murphy beds could fall forward on you in your sleep if it is anchored improperly. I need to find an alternative wall mount perhaps. And beware, for roughly $1200 (including the $200-something shipping fee) Fedex delivered it outside of my apartment building on the steps! No elevator here! I had to take it apart in the foyer and bring it up to my apartment on the 3rd floor, piece by piece. If I can just find a bracket that extends out from the wall a bit more, maybe I can make it work. Our apartment has a heater along the bottom of the wall that makes the unit unable to sit flush for the brackets. I will not have money to fix this for another month or 2. I will update by the end of July 2025 here if I am able to make it work. By the end of this I am wishing I got a sleeper sofa. ... show more

    • Hard to assemble.
Very difficult to assemble, instructions were not clear. Couch is lower than I expected. The bed works great. It will meet our needs.
