Putting together the bed was not that difficult to follow. That's about the best I can say about the bed. The product quality isn't very good, I would even say its poor. None of the drawers line up and the drawers under the door are so bad that they stick up a 1/2" and the door cannot close. The hardware is pre attached to the drawer sides and the guides for the cabinet have pre-drilled alignment holes unfortunately they are located at the wrong hight. The drawer guides themselves are very low quality and have no adjustment. One side holds the wheels in place but the other side is a flat guide and the drawer falls off the track. There is no way to center the drawers to prevent this. Sadly I will have to buy new hard ware. The next huge issue is the panel that holds the mattress is 1/4" painted MDF with 1/2" cross slats. Those slats do not solidly attach and when my 80# child lays on it the middle of the bed it bows pretty bad. I'm not sure how long this will last. Very cheap. All the parts are pretty flimsy. Lastly, there is nothing to cover the bolt connections they just stick out like a sore thumb. I wouldn't recommend this product. After several hours putting this together I wish I would have spent more on a quality built murphy bed. Sadly I will just have to use it until I can get something new.

It takes awhile to put together. It’s A LOT of pieces. But I really like it. So far it looks great, it seems pretty sturdy. Plus the drawers are really deep so I can store bedding in them and still have room for guests to use for their own things.

Very difficult instruction

I bought this bed and it was terrible; it was missing screws and some pieces. I couldn't return it because I had visitors arriving at my house and they had to sleep on it. I had to improvise to finish assembling it. i don't recommend this product .

Had to contact the seller while building the Murphy bed, two of the parts came exactly the opposite of what they needed to be. Seller was responsive and did send the new parts, however, sent two 70+ pound boxes of other parts instead of just sending the two pieces we needed. Which meant we have to figure out how to dispose of 140 pounds of wood pieces we cannot use. In addition, screws pulled out the second we put the door on the cabinet, and drawers don’t fit correctly and hits the bottom of the armoire cabinet door. Many of the pieces were scratched and chipped straight out of the boxes. Pistons are too tight for bed to sit open while finishing install…..the list goes on and on

This product is terrible. Too expensive for cheap material arrived with many scratches, bent hardware, and magnets. Do not even hold up the Murphy bed, although used the thinnest mattress recommended. I’m very dissatisfied. The company also accused me of uploading incorrect photos. Which is not OK also, the screws are open for viewing, which makes the product not look aesthetic
