Arrived in two thin but heavy boxes--around 70 lb each. Assembly was a bit tedious but doable in around two evenings. Be aware-- the instructions are in pictures no words. Some of the pilot holes are not where they're supposed to be, and it takes a bit of wrangling and common sense, but we got it up. Not a bad product, just know that most of it is MDF wood and easily scratched and bruised. Not an expensive piece, average quality, but still glad I got the deal on it. ... show more

The quality of the bed once finished is very good, but the instructions are very confusing and you physically can not build this without a second person. I tried and I almost broke a finger and a toe. All of the pieces are labeled but the label is never in the same place so you need to be careful and organize everything ahead of time. The whole chest comes in 3 boxes that weigh between 60-80lbs each so be prepared when having them delivered. ... show more

Would you really like this Murphy bed, but it is really big put together in the dresser though, just beware. It takes up some space in the room. We love the storage space for the mattress and the space for the linens in the drawers underneath. And it’s definitely a two man job to pull the bed out and put it back together in the dresser like storage. Unfortunately building the Murphy bed was challenging… Pieces didn’t fit right so my husband had to use a drill and a sander to put it together properly. ... show more
