Description

The Macho Combo from WOW Watersports is a new kind of deck tube. You can still ride the Macho Combo like a regular deck tube, lying down and holding on for dear life. But if all that holding on is too much work, you can sit down inside the Secure Cockpit Seating built into the Macho deck tube body. The design team at WOW Watersports figured out how to turn the basic one- dimensional deck tube into a multi-positional family fun mobile. Unlike the traditional deck tube which you can only lie down on, the Macho Combo tube allows you to lay, sit, or kneel. What we did was we added Secure Form-Fit seating right in the middle of the tube. On top of that we added a layer of UV-protection treated, heavy-duty, FLEX-SIT material to make the cockpit form fitting and ultra-comfortable. The Macho Combo Series is the perfect all in one action towable for the family with kids that want to sit inside a cockpit for a more secure ride and for those more adventurous ones that want to kneel or lie down on the deck and just hold on for dear life. I've bought this tube twice. Each time it was a blast all summer. But the next year when we went to pull it out of the closet and reinflate, it would not hold air. The first year I took the time to take off the cover and find the leak, and patch the hole. But the hole (both times) were toward the front where there are 3 seams. So as soon as a kid got back on the tube, the patch wouldn't hold over the seam. You cannot just buy a new interior. If would say buy it if you're fine only getting 1 year's use. For full disclosure we're new to the lake game, so maybe tubes are only supposed to last a year?!? We did really enjoy that the kids (and me) could lay down or sit on your knees. But I'll be trying a new one this year to see if I can get more than 1 year worth of fun! ... show more

We had the time of our lives towing this behind a boat in the open ocean for my 40th birthday! We were worried someone would get injured, because we were being ridiculous and going very fast! But there are so many places to hold on, and this thing is STURDY, with the seats spaced out well and so many possible options for positioning, both seated and lying down. I can’t speak to how well it will hold up over time, but it seems incredibly well made. I was worried the mesh seat pockets would tear, but we were standing in them and doing all kinds of absurd things—this raft took a beating from our group—and everything held up perfectly. No issues, whatsoever! I know for lots of people, boating is a seasonal activity, and toys like this spend a lot of time in storage. I’m not sure how well it would do in conditions like that, but based on the quality materials and construction, it seems very durable and like would be absolutely fine for at least several years. However, even if you were only to get one season’s worth out of this, for the price, it is still a fantastic deal! We had the best time and can’t wait to take it out again! Tube looks great and has fantastic quality. It’s easy to inflate. In a nice medium size. Great that the kids can ride together. However… Nobody likes it because it’s so uncomfortable to sit down in the mesh seats. It’s also very awkward to lay across them because your hips sink down and… it’s incredibly uncomfortable. You feel everything underneath you when sitting in the mesh seats. I would not buy this again. Go for the Bubba Wow instead. Avoid any with the mesh seats. ... show more

Used it frequently for an entire summer on the lake. so far no issues with rips or tears and we really gun it with people on it. If you sit in the mesh its comfortable but your undercarriage will get a nice jet powered washing :) Laying flat in your stomach is less painful. Inflates easily with an electric pump- easy to get water out of it. I know its only for 2- but you could put 3 people on it if they are smaller and you dont go too fast. We purchased this tube a couple weeks ago. My teen boys have been having a blast on it. We bought the three person tube. Although just my two boys tubed on it this week, three adults could definitely fit on it easily. It appears to be made very durable. I was worried about the black nylon where you sit or you put your knees in. However, it held up just fine. It’s also large enough that a couple adults could just layout on it while we anchored the boat and just floated in the water. We had a great time using it this week. This tube pulls great behind the boat. We have a small 18ft. fishing boat and this tube does great behind it. The multiple handles are awesome for different hand grips.
