Very sturdy daybed. I was able to put it together by myself in about 3 hours. I wanted the look of a “couch” and not a bed for my office and this daybed is perfect for overnight guests.

It actually looks nice, surprising for the price and seems well made. We can tell the slats won't hold much wait so we're getting a sheet of plywood to put under the mattress to reinforce it. But the strangest part was that it came in about 30 pieces that needed to be screwed together with no instructions except a diagram. My friend who is a master's degree mechanical engineer struggled for 2 hours putting it together lol! How is it possible that anybody else could get it together? I've read some reviews where people were saying pieces were missing.. there weren't it's just that it was so complicated it's easy to get it put together incorrectly. I think if I had done it by myself I would have been in tears because there would have been no way I would have ever been able to figure it out. Keep that in mind when you get it. You have a few hours and you're extremely mechanically able, you might be able to figure it out. My two engineer friends started uncontrollably laughing when they looked at the diagram. ... show more

We bought this bed as an upgrade for my child to a full size bed. He loves it and it is very sturdy. The only complaint we have was that one of the holes was not drilled all the way, causing a board to split. We will be able to patch the crack but it was annoying as only one board was like this. the bed itself looks fantastic, sturdy wood.BUT 1 person can absolutely not put this thing together and the nuts that hold the back and front bottom slats are the type that go in the hole but will not meet the bolts! so the whole frame is completely impossible to put together. I spent 2h of my life trying ans trying. All of my furniture is from IKEA, I'm a custom picture frame so I KNOW how to put things together... this is absolutely ridiculous! ... show more
