This took my wife and I about 3.5 hours to assemble however we were not in a hurry and we let some of our children help etc. Regardless, when you start on this and see the work it will feel a bit much. The good news is that it's not that painful and many of the steps are similar so that you sort of start to get it as you go. I recommend at least 2 people, and a power drill. If you do this with the hex wrench they send you then you deserve an award. Also leave bolts loose until a section is complete and then tighten because that's not only common maintenance practice but you're going to end up loosening things back up to add another step if not. I knew better and yeap, common or not, I had to do it once and I knew better. Once together that's it's just like in the picture. It looks and feels like a great quality bed. The rails going up the stairs needs a slight bit more reinforment I believe but I've threatened my kids so let's see if that helps make it last. BTW, if you skip the step to install the two square pieces and you're like, where do these go, then we can be friends and don't worry, they go on the bottom rail to bump against the top of the drawer that is underneath so that it doesn't roll completely under the bed. My wife and I are satisfied with the bed and my boys looked so comfy sleeping in it. Definitely recommend.

This is a fantastic bunkbed for my kids. I would happily buy this again. The biggest "pro" is that this is one of very few bunk bed options where the beds look IDENTICAL when separated instead of being stacked. They are sturdy but I wish there were a few more boards to lay down for support under the mattress. Note: The long side posts were not installed yet in the photo where they are in the bunkbed setup. We also LOVE having the trundle as an extra option for when family/friends come to stay and we need more space for sleepers. The biggest "con" I could find is the T-shape at the top of the headboard/footboard makes it very very uncomfortable to lean against. Overall I would repurchase this in a heartbeat if my kids broke it or something.

This piece of furniture is outstanding. It arrived in three heavy boxes. It has a twin bed on top, a full-size bed on the main level, and a twin trundle under the full size. Assembly takes some time. But I have to say the directions are outstanding for a change, the parts are all well marked and it came with a tool and screws. The bed parts are right on, solid, and very nice. It went to gather well, the time is taken up because it is a large piece. The stairs have book cubies under them. Once up it is solid. Great piece the grandkids love!

These bunk beds are difficult to put together due to poor production and assembly. The home drilled in the wood planks are in the wrong spots and made it a headache to put together.

This was good quality for the most part. Came without damage. There were 3 pre drilled holes missing, but I drilled my own so it wasn’t a huge problem. If you plan to use the Alan key that comes with it—don’t. Get a driver. It will destroy your hands turning it. Just trust me. You want the power tools for this one.
