Very frustrating product to build. The instructions were quite vague and the labeling was incorrect on multiple pieces. Once built, it just looked cheap. Some of pieces were very warped and they would have of be forced into it position to close due to misalignment. There was not enough support under the mattress, so you would end up both rolling to the middle because the mattress wasn’t supported. I would say not worth the money for the quality. ... show more

The instructions were difficult to follow as only pictures and no written instructions or tips. The drawings of the item to be put together were often not oriented the same. There were QR codes on each page to view a video but they were not helpful as often times you could only see the back of the person trying to put it together. I do not like all of the silver screws that show. It took 2 of us over 12 hours to put together and we are quite handy. ... show more

I had an item in the kits that had a manufacture defect, but the customer service more than accommodated for this defect. I worked with Stephanie throughout this process which didn't take long, but I had the pivot bracket bust after one use and I took a picture went to the amazon order section and sent the seller a message. Stephanie asked for a couple more picture to identify how they can improve the product and sent a replacement kit with more parts than I need and now I have additional parts in the event that anything else breaks, which whenever you have moving parts something is always going to give out at some point. I am very please with the customer service so I am giving them a 5, but as far as the defected material I think they need to watch their welders and welding QCs a little better. Overall the product is beautiful, functions well but just needs a strap of some sort to hold the mattress to the bed frame to prevent the mattress from catching on the top of the unit when attempting to pull the bed down for use. The bed looks great; however, the silver bolts and screws show everywhere. The instructions are all small pictures and difficult to read. Some of the parts were identified incorrectly in the instructions. Annoying at best. the bed does not stay down when pulled down. i'm hoping the mattress will do that. There is no customer service number to call for questions--again annoying. for the price the bed is good for a guest/workout room to have a bed in. ... show more

    • Does not function as advertised with horrible "return" experience

If I could give less than 1 star I would. First the bed does not function as it should, the bed does not open when fully put together and then when you take off the cylinders to set it down it barely can stand under its own weight and it claims it can hold up to 600 pounds. Not to mention some damages that occurred either at the factory or during shipping. All the screws and bolts are shown when put together which looks cheap and the instructions are mislabeled. On top of that, we've tried to return this 300 pound hunk of junk but amazons sorry customer service said they would take it back but have we have to pay another $300 for shipping. The bed in total with shipping cost close to 1100 so at the end of the day If we finally break it down and ship it back, I would have spent half the amount of the bed in just shipping fees alone. How does that make sense? Then trying to get ahold of the manufacture is practically nonexistent. Save yourself some time and do not get this product, way too expensive for the trouble and lack of functionality. Border line a scam in my opinion. ... show more
