Features

  • Only one bag is included, two bags are needed to achieve proper floatation
  • Tie-ins are isolated from the air holding cell so that a tear out will be limited to the anchor
  • Twist valve on the inflation hose ensures a positive seal
  • High capacity dump valve for easy deflation
  • Listed dimensions are for when the bag is inflated

Description

Keep a Harmony Stern Flotation Bag in your kayak and make your boat easier to bail out and easier to recover in the event of a capsize. Once fully inflated and installed, this flotation bag occupies otherwise-empty hull space in your boat and thus limits the volume that water can fill when you flip over. A flotation bag is a quick and easy way to gain greater peace of mind out on the water.

  • I have used Harmony products with Excellent results for decades
Fit my WW kayaks bow(2 required). I use these in both my bulkhead boats and my wall boats. There are single bow bags that are avail elsewhere for bulkhead kayak bows without center wall. They often cost more than 2 of these and cant be also used in a wall boat. I have Harmony bags that are from the 90s and still work. Never leave bag fully inflated when You are not on the water. Heat increases pressure and will pop your bag. It is not the bag's fault, it's yours. Remove the bags occasionally to check for mildew and grit, particularly after hard creeking or scouting trips where you were tracking grit and mud into your boat. ... show more

  • Great fit - 8 foot creeker boat (select 8-10)
I have a Dagger Mamba 8 and and the 8-10 option fit just great in my kayak (8 foot creaker/white water). Do note, it does not come with any kind of tie downs. You need to use some rope through the holes in the bags or a biner to attach and hold it in your kayak. Although I suspect even if you didn't your seat should hold it into place. Also note, you need to order 2 of these. They are easy to inflate with the little hose attached to the bags and you can close them. I don't think there is a one-way valve of any kind so remember to close them after inflating. To measure the fit I tossed a tape measure into my boat and compared. Solid bags, they do the job. ... show more

  • but what I personally like best is just being able to buy one as ...
6 months into it they still don't leak...but what I personally like best is just being able to buy one as I can stuff a descent sized dry bag in the other side and have warm and dry clothes, lunch and rescue gear handy but protected. My rolls gotten solid enough that i haven't had to swim, but did roll up after my spray skirt popped and was able to control the flooded boat better. ... show more

  • Seems pretty solid
I had a palm float bag that seemed decent, but the spot where the hose connected to the bag tore. I reinforced it with heavy duct tape. I did the same to this as a prevention. It seems well built. It installed fine in the stern of my diesel 70.

  • Good as NRS for less money!!!
I had those before in both of my boats. Creek boat and play boat. They are not expensive like NRS but they are not behind too. Great quality. Nice sizes selections. The reason I am buying a new one is because I didn't tied it correctly to my boat and it flew during transportation.

  • Good product
These float bags are excellent quality, and despite having been filled with air for several weeks, they are still completely inflated. I expected to have to top them up each time I went out with the kayak.
