Style: Squat Rack with Weight Bench
This product is good for the money. It is sturdy and feels like it is well made. It is easy to put together. However there are a couple issues with it to point out that are worth noting with the spotter arms. First of all, it is slightly misleading that this can be used for bench press. To use it for bench you need to raise the spotter arms to the highest point. However, they just don't go up quite high enough. And so your starting point to lift the barbell is too low. If you are doing lighter weight I guess it's okay but with heavier weight it's not ideal. Secondly, the spotter arm for squats should go a little bit lower. If you are actually trying to use the spotter arms for safety purposes, they don't allow you to go low enough. So the spotter arms just need more range of motion. They need to be able to go up and down more than they do. overall this is a good rack for the money just has some drawbacks before they can get to five stars. ... show more

    • Could be sturdier, but great overall!
Style: Squat Rack with Weight Bench
This was quite easy to assemble, but I wish it was a little sturdier. I’m not afraid of it falling in any direction, but I felt that I needed to brace the back part of it a little more to prevent any sort of unsteadiness. It is otherwise a great squat rack and is used frequently.

This is a good multi-purpose rack for those with limited space that want to workout both upper and lower body with one piece of equipment The base has 10 adjustable width settings The wide settings are good for exercises like bench press, shoulder press, squats, etc The narrow settings are good for dips (the uprights have dip handles in the back) Uprights have 10 height settings which is good for people of different heights. Spotter arms have 5 height settings and are adjusted with a lock pin that goes through the back of the uprights. At the bottom of the rack there is a weight plate sleeve on each side. I like that the sleeves are compatible with standard and Olympic size weight plates. This is a better than average SQUAT rack. The spot arms are fast and easy to adjust. The rubber pads on the arms and cradle are awesome. The design is sharp looking. * This is NOT a bench press rack * The steel is thicker in the top cradle and in the spot arms , but the rest is all standard thin folded steel . The welds are standard. The extension on the bar cradles rely on half plastic half steel screw knob to hold adjustments up or down. The rack does not spread easily. It arrived a little beat up,dings and chipped paint. The factory packed it well. Plastic wrap and cardboard caps on all the peices . Dont over tighten the plastic weight holder (olimpic adapter) . Yes its a bit overpriced, But it is the best thing being offered right now in the " at home" price range. Im using it and for the most part I'm satisfied. ... show more
