Reliable well made safe from Hardrock
Style: Drop style（1 gun）
Good quality safe, this is my second one. I first bought the dual pistol safe and loved it. Fingerprint reader works 95-99% of the time the first time. I rarely ever have to reposition and try a second. Batteries last a good long time. Haven’t had to reprogram the code or fingerprint at all. The angled drop down is a really great design and opens everything time. This is the single pistol safe and is basically the same as the double I already have. I was very impressed with the first one so I came back to this brand and have not been disappointed. Installation is pretty easy and straightforward. I would like it better if they included two holes and two screws to attach it to the mounting bracket. I like redundancy. I was able to drill a second hole in my 2 pistol safe, tried the same with this one, but the screw hits the mechanism to unlock and I cannot utilize the secondary hole on this one. Still, I would give this an overall 9/10. It’s simple, straightforward and reliable.

Fulfills everything you want. Keeps guns from children.
Style: Drop style（1 gun）
I rate it 5 stars because it fulfills everything I need it to. It allows quick access It does not look bad mounted to the wall. It has 3 ways to enter the safe. It is large enough to hold a Beretta M9 Most importantly It will keep my 2 year old son away from my firearm but allow me to keep it in my office.

This works great. I have it mounted on the side of my nightstand and I wish the bracket on top was removable.

Works terrific
Style: Drop style（1 gun）
Very happy with it. It was a pretty easy install and have not had to replace batteries since I got it (at least 6 months). Has worked every time with multiple people with a variety of finger prints. Very good peace of mind

Easy to install.
Style: Drop style（1 gun）
Very good gun safe that installed very easily on the side of our nightstand. Would it stop a determined thief? No, but it will keep it away from children and chance visitors. Works very well, even the fingerprint identification.

Critical Safety Flaw
Style: Drop style（1 gun）
The review highlights significant safety concerns with the fingerprint gun safe in question. Initially, the setup process of the safe appeared straightforward, which could be seen as a positive aspect for users looking for convenience. However, the core function of the safe—to securely store firearms—was critically compromised. The incident described, where the door of the safe unexpectedly opened upon a mere touch to its side and could not be secured again, raises alarming issues regarding the reliability and safety of the unit. Such a malfunction is especially concerning in households with children, as the potential for a child to access a loaded gun due to the safe's failure could lead to tragic outcomes. The experience shared serves as a stern warning to potential buyers about the reliability of the safe's locking mechanism and the importance of thoroughly testing a safe's security features, especially when it's intended to store dangerous items like loaded firearms.
