We’ve used this camping twice now, and we are blown away at the quality for the price. It looks exactly like the picture. It was two adults and a 60lb pitbull sleeping in the tent on camping trips. Our dogs cot fit perfectly along with our 2 sleeping pads and a little table. 3 people could easily fit, 4 would be a very tight fit. We haven’t used it in very heavy rains, but, we did get rained on once and it kept us perfectly dry. The rain fly was easy to put on and seems pretty secure. It doesn’t have a footprint, so we did use a tarp under just to be extra sure we stayed dry. I would suggest watching the video of the gentleman installing the tent in the product description. It’s honestly so straight forward, and that’s what we used to learn how to set it up and take it down. It took maybe 5 minutes to install? If that! And just a quick to put away. We can’t fully stand, but it’s enough height to hunch over, and just nice to have elbow room. I’m so happy with it! ... show more

This tent is great for a startup experience to tent camping. No you cant use it for years....but it will last a few seasons of modererate weather. Mine has never leaked once. Plent of ventilation, but will condinsate undeer certain conditions, however you can manage that by venting the doors. Extreme weather? not really. Its a good spring summer and fall tent, no so much for winter camping. AND YES,,,you can get this teent up in a few minutes with NO hassles. The 1-2 person tent will hold two adults. Cots and inflatable sleeping pads....no issues. Is it worth the money for a few great years of teent camping?? HELL ya! ... show more

I don’t normally leave reviews on product, but felt compelled to after my camping trip. This tent is incredible and so easy to set up. It comes with everything you need. Literally out of the bag and set up with the rain fly in about 5 minutes. I unfortunately ran into some terrible weather during my camping trip, however it stayed dry despite a torrential downpour and winds of ~20 MPH. Incredibly sturdy and durable in inclement weather. Easiest tent I have also ever put away. You literally pop the top mechanism up and the tent folds up so easily. There is also a strap to help keep it wrapped tight. I have always had issues with tents having air left in them or being hard to get back into the tent bag - not this time. I was able to put it all away safely in 5 minutes as well. Highly recommend this product and will be purchasing more items from Happy Travel! ... show more

    • Great tent except the zippers

This is a great tent except for a major design flaw. The tent is as easy to put up as advertised here. It's weather proof and did us well for one night in pretty solid rain. However, the zippers for the screen flap and the rain flap on both sides are so close together that they get stuck on each other very easily (the rain flap zipper pulls in the screen flap zipper when you close or open it and vice versa - unless you are very careful). Although it is easy to get them stuck on each other, it is not at all easy to pull them apart. On the morning after our first night in the tent, the rain flap zipper got stuck on the screen flap zipper so badly that we had to remove the rain flap zipper pull entirely to get the tent even partially closed in the rain. We now have a tent that doesn't close all the way on one side (useless in the rain), and that has small holes in it from where we had to complete surgery to be able to salvage as much of our gear inside as possible. Night two in the tent in the rain was not so much fun even though we did our best with duct tape. And now we're home and have discovered we're one week too late to exchange or return a tent that is no longer usable after only one trip. :( ... show more

    • Similar mechanism to a pack n play

We bought this for a scout campout. I don’t think I’ve been camping since I was in middle school, so I reached out to family members for feedback before buying. We anticipate camping maybe two to three nights a year, so I was looking for ease of use over longevity. Overall: seems nice. I think it will suit our purposes perfectly. It’s a good size, easy to set up and tear down, and fairly compact when packed away (smaller than a pack n play). Not sure how durable it actually is, but I guess we’ll find out. What I would want to know: - Had to order twice, because I didn’t realize there were two sizes. - Set up/ tear down is as easy as operating a pack n play. It uses the same mechanism, basically, but upside down. - Set up seems to require two people as I couldn’t get the poles to seat securely enough to engage the mechanism on my own. - Awkward to set up if you are short. - Does not come with a ground cloth, but I have an 8x10 tarp from the Dollar Store that I’m going to use. Footprint is 8’ square, so I’m planning to fold the edge of the tarp under. The internet said not to have tarp outside the edge of the tent because it’ll make a puddle of your tent floor. - The rain cloth is only just bigger than the windows (which are only on the top, although the flaps have a screen option, too.) Not sure whether that’s normal, or if it should be longer. - The “gear net” is very tiny. Probably only good for getting your phone, etc off the ground (which is maybe what it is for?), however it’s immediately under the screen windows, so I would be worried about rain leaking in through those screens. ... show more

Awesome tent. Used it during camping trip with 40miles per hour winds and it worked great. Super easy to set up. Once you figure out the takedown (the legs gave me a struggle) it’s awesome. Set up no more than two minutes.

The bag to store is nice. We put a small kids size broom inside to use for in the tent whenever we go camping. This tent was perfect and easy set up. A cozy fit for two adults and three small kids to sleep in with folding cushions to sleep on. By cozy I mean no room to be sprawled out but we were comfortable. In the cool outdoors at night the little ones wanted to cuddle anyway so it worked for us. However if you put a queen size inflatable matress in someone is going to have to volunteer as tribute to sleep outside because with the height of a mattress you get less space. Great value. Not just for camping but I can see us using this for backyard camping too. ... show more

    • Perfect for ducks! (And likely chickens)

I saw an instagram post of a woman in New England who used tents to harbor her chickens indoors when the temps/wind chill dropped into the low/negative numbers. We thought this was brilliant. We have ducks, typically they can stand lower temps than chickens, but even then we’ve had to bring them in on occasion and were excited to have a way to fully contain their feathers and bedding. We also used it this spring as a supplement to our brooder set up. We put in an extra large tarp to line the floor and part way up the walls, and put a collapsible kiddie pool inside. We left the doors zipped to knee height to allow enough airflow (fully closed not enough air circulated for proper ventilation). It took us awhile to find the right shape/size tent to fit the larger kiddie foldable pool. This was perfect, the pool fit inside with a bit of space on either side of the doors to just “catch” any flying feathers or bedding, and room on the long ends to store more bedding, food and supplies right inside the tent. It has been the perfect set up, easy to clean, maintain and take down. Completely eliminated fly away feathers and bedding. The pop up and down functionality of the tent is easy and feels durable for our use. Highly rate it for this “quacky” set up! ... show more
