When working with metal, doing welding or soldering, having the joint areas clean from dirt and grease makes a huge difference in the ease of making that joint. A good solvent is needed to clean the joint, and these wash bottles are perfect for applying the solvent for cleaning. They are a handy size, and the curved spout makes it easy to apply the solvent right where you want it, either a little, or a lot. In my case, I typically use acetone for metal-cleaning, because it is great at dissolving oils and grease, but also evaporates very quickly so you can get on with the job of soldering or welding that joint. I know that these bottles are not intended for acetone, because the plastic will eventually fail. However, they will work very well for rather a long time before that failure finally occurs. As a side note, the acetone doesn't dissolve the main material of the bottle, polyethylene, but will slowly dissolve the plasticizer additive that helps keep that polyethlyene flexible and pliable. Once the plasticizer has leached away, the polyethylene will crack and the bottle will then fail, but my experience is that it can take one to two years for that to happen. For the price, these bottles will definitely earn their keep before the eventual failure occurs, and I can simply replace them with new ones.

I use one of these almost daily. I have to fill small bottles with different liquids and I used to use funnels and it was annoying. I would spill almost every time or overfill the bottles and have to pour some out. One day my brother stopped by and offered me a few of these sports squeeze bottles. He would have given me more of them since he got a bunch on close out, but I didn't think we'd use them much. That's because I was only thinking about sports or hospital bed use. That's what they reminded me of. Being able to squirt water in my mouth from the bedside table without lifting the bottle while in a hospital bed. Afterwards I figured out that they would solve my problem with filling bottles. Then I wished I would have said yes to more bottles. After a couple of years of almost continuous use most of those bottles didn't work right anymore so I went searching for more. I found this set with 2 sizes in it. I like the smaller sizes. The ones I had were large and heavy, but still very useful. I also liked this set because it came with a second set of straws and lids. That's what broke on my previous ones. If I would have had a back up then I could still use those. These are thicker and better quality than my old set, so that's a plus. They also came with a couple of funnels which was a bonus. We'll see how they do long term, but for now I'm happy with them.

Summary: Per the Amazon listing, this bottle by HEYLCM is made from LDPE, which is low density polyethylene. For comparison, I did a quick search and the product listed below is the Amazon choice, costs less ($1.00) and has many more reviews. Another deciding factor for me, is whether the manufacturer specializes in a certain product line. For the offering by RONYES, there are 33 products, and most are lab specific (lots of test tubes, and graduated cylinders). So right off the bat, I would consider them more of a specialty maker than HEYLCM. Conclusion: At $10 for two bottles, rating this 3-stars (cost, non-specialty). With something as simple as a bottle, I would go with a proven product, especially one that costs less. These are nice small wash bottles, great when you don't need a lot of whatever you're putting in them and the full-size 500ml bottles are just too much. I use them for solvents I use while painting and I don't need a whole lot for cleaning brushes and reducing paints, but I do need it to go right where I want it, so these work great for that job. The bottles are easy to squeeze, which give good control of output. They will drip a little if you don't use them just so and attend to sucking the bit left in the nozzle back into the bottle. For what I use them for it's not a problem. The funnels are welcome, definitely hard to get product in there neatly without them. The extra nozzles are nice I suppose although I've never needed those, I suppose you could use those to convert some other bottles that have the same neck thread. Nice to get two since they're handy for more than one purpose. Overall thumbs up for me, I'd do it again and recommend.

Perfectly good wash bottles. All pieces arrived as described. As far as a set goes, my only real complaint is that the funnels are a bit small (I use a normal sized kitchen funnel), and that there isn't a plain cap for the bottles. I've mainly used them with isopropyl alchohol and distilled water for cleaning my airbrush, and it would be nice to not have to empty the bottles between sessions.
