The gazebo arrived super fast in multiple boxes. It arrived complete but there were some damaged parts (about 6 items). I contacted the seller, Happatio. They were very quick to respond, maybe in 8 hours, and quickly resent the damaged pieces. My contact at Happatio was Lily and just outstanding. She sent the tracking numbers so I could follow on my own. She also followed up to make sure all was good on my end. The gazebo is well made and looks good. Each piece is clearly labelled with a small sticker (easy to remove) that corresponds with the instruction book. The color brown is deep and rich looking. The gazebo has been out there for about 3 weeks in 100+ heat with a hot blazing sun every day with no impact. The gazebo roof provides solid shade. It took about 2 days for 2 people to build the gazebo. The gazebo posts are sunk in concrete and surrounded by a stone wall we are having built. We have not put the netting or opaque curtains up yet. That will be done after the masonry work is completed. That being said, the netting and curtain are well made and of good strong material. There is a place to hang a fan or lights. We will hang string lights. I am happy with this purchase. I was concerned buying the gazebo online as opposed to locally but I couldn't find this size gazebo (16x12) with the quality and price point offered by Happatio.     • Very nice, but assembly is not for the faint of heart. Buy a rivet tool and some metal shears.

Update: Added a star for excellent customer service. They saw my review and asked how they could improve the instructions and compensated me for difficulties We bought this instead of getting a carport for our UTV. I am happy with the assembled product. It is very attractive and seems sturdy. I plan to poor some concrete pillars in the ground to bolt it too. The assembly was hell though. Don't get me wrong, it's worth it, just be prepared. Absolutely use a drill with an allen wrench insert. It took me 11 hours with my wife helping with two of the steps. The pieces are well labeled and I laid them out first. I did find the S2 pieces inside one of the C pieces though. The instructions tell you to check inside the A pieces, but there was nothing there. It is really easy to cross thread the bolts and once you do, you just have to force them in. In a few spots the little thing the screws screw into break loose and you can't tighten or loosen the screw anymore. When that happened I drilled a hole and put in a rivet. There's one step where you have sets two 'A' legs connected with 'arms sticking' out and you are supposed to stand the whole mess up and connect them together with the L plates. This was really hard and the wind completely bent several of the arms and ripped the 'nuts' out of the legs. The first time this happened I drilled the installed rivets out of the 'A' leg, put a sheet metal plate behind it and held the 'nuts' in place with needle nose while I put the screws in. I saw another 'A' leg had one of its 'nuts' partially ripped out and I realized it was easier to just use my rivets rather than the plate method. On our second attempt to do this step, we did it upside down (duh) on the ground instead of in mid air as the instructions showed. We had to be really careful flipping it back over though to avoid ripping out the nuts. I think it would be smarter to do it upside down and install the angle supports before uprighting it. Other issues: On the top little roof the image did not make it clear which way the edge pieces were supposed to be oriented. I had to redo them when I got to a later step. There are several steps where you are supposed to mount these 'M' pieces over to edge pieces. To do this you have to line up 4 holes and get a screw in while being on a ladder. It was very hard. One one spot I could not get them to line up and had to drill out one of the holes bigger. When putting on the lower roof pieces, there is no way to reach the top most screw from a ladder. I had to do it from the inside and snake my hand out over the roof. It was hard to get the screw started. On the small roof, one of the 'F' pieces just would not line up. I had to make three cuts with metal shears to make it work. I was putting on the last piece ('R'?) and it was completely missing a hole to line up with the screw underneath. ... show more

We absolutely love our hard top gazebo! We bought the dark grey. The gazebo itself is black and the curtains are dark grey which is perfect for matching our home! We placed ours up on our deck. We have lots of mosquitoes where we live so our deck wasn't being used! Now we are out on the deck every night watching the glorious sunsets and enjoying the night air! It arrived very quickly, at least a week before it said it would be here! All of the parts were there. I love how they sent extra tools and screws! Everything was labeled really well! It took my husband about 6 1/2 hours to put together! My son helped with the framework! My husband said it would have been better if he had help with the roof as well! The instructions could have been better because they are just pictures but the video was helpful to watch before putting it up! We bolted the gazebo into our deck because we live at the mouth of a canyon and we have a lot of wind! So far so good! We have had a couple of rainstorms as well and the only leaks we had were at the seams on the rain gutters which we caulked with black caulk! We bought ours on the Prime Day Sale which basically paid for the shipping which was great! ... show more

The product is well made, except the manufacturer would be wise to drill holes in an oval shape instead of round, so there would be a degree of adjustment available with the pieces (so that any additional drilling modification would not be necessary). There are several places in the instructions where more comprehensive diagrams would be useful, so you'd know exactly how pieces fit together, instead of some annoying trial basis construction. We received 1 piece (the very top cornice) which was badly bent and had a large dent in it (making it difficult to afix to other parts). We contacted customer service, and they addressed our issue satisfactorily. We would highly recommend this product! ... show more

This gazebo looks amazing on my deck. Assembly was difficult at times because the pictures were not clear but the company does have YouTube videos showing construction of this item but found those instructions not too clear to see either. Customer service was quickly responsive. The screws used to assemble this were very short and often did not catch and tighten without great effort at times. There are a few steps where you absolutely need 3 people minimum. There are four areas (mid way up in each corner) that leak when it pours rain. Despite all this I am happy with this purchase.
