This is a really cute guitar. Unfortunately, the strings don't stay in tune for more than a few minutes. If you just want a toy for a toddler, it's fine but if you're looking for an instrument for a young child to learn on, this wouldn't be it.

    • Toddler tested durability
The guitar arrived with the strings loosened exactly as they should. There's no way to get it tuned perfectly, but it's close enough for my toddler. Very durable- they've thrown it, stood on it, banged on it, and other toddler conducted tests. And they love playing it and carrying it around. The only thing I wish it had was a strap or spots to attach one, but I get not having one since it is for little kids. ... show more

Nice guitar, but only 4 stars because the strings that it comes with are awful. Some are plastic, some are metal. We replaced them before giving this to our 4 year old daughter and it is perfect now. Love the design.

    • Good for a toddler
It’s a really cute toy instrument. My granddaughter loves it. My son worked on the strings trying to get it to sound better. Didn’t have much luck with that. Still, she loves it. I think it’s a good buy for a three year old.

This guitar is adorable for sure but the cords are like plastic and don't put off that real guitar sound. It's more of a toy if you are wanting to get a guitar that puts off the true sound look elsewhere.

Ok so, I accidentally ordered the wrong thing. Initially I was looking for a ukelele for a two(2) year old, I failed to notice that it was an actual guitar. Fast forward, I received the item but I had to return to obtain the right one. Now even though we didn’t get to keep it- it was a very lovely piece, no damages and marks, everything was in tact and it played beautifully. The design was gorgeous too.
