I'd heard so much about this audio production board over the past couple of years that I finally thought I should get one. As a longtime audio engineer, I honestly didn't think it could possibly live up to the hype. Only moments after setting it up, I realized how much this unit was going to simplify my life. With its intuitive, almost plug-and-play design, you can produce quality podcasts and audio recordings right out of the box. Of course, you'll need microphones, headphones, cables, and even a microSD card, but notwithstanding these requirements, this piece of kit delivers great audio quality. One area I'm still not sure about is its ability to sync a multitrack session in a DAW. Although there are video tutorials available, they don't match the behavior I'm experiencing. When assigning tracks, I have no reliable way of knowing what is what and end up having to guess. Microphones go to one channel, but the USB output isn't working for me in Audition. I suppose I may have to actually read the manual for this information. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this purchase! The unit has exceeded my expectations for ease of use and audio quality, even if I'm still working through some of the more advanced features. The latest firmware update includes a CallMe feature, a plugin by a third party developer that is free in the upgrade. You are able to connect to other RodeCaster Pro II's or RodeCaster Duo's for crystal clear calls. My name is Xavier. My parents and I share an Amazon account. I am insanely happy with this mixer. It doesn’t come with any paper instructions, in way of a QR code on the device, but setup was easy enough once I had the software downloaded. I have Beyer DT990 Pros, and a Shure MV7X. I was running them with an M-Audio Air interface for the mic, a FetHead for proper power to the mic, and a DAC for the headphones. This mixer looked at all of those, and laughed. No external equipment, aside from the peripherals themselves, is needed with this mixer. It provides more than enough power to both of those devices, to the point that the phantom power for the mic, was actually feeding too much power to it. Seriously, give this product serious consideration if you’re looking for an audio rig. The amount of control, customization, and “it just works,” is leagues ahead of the setup with all the different devices. It’s ultimately more expensive than the options I listed previously, but I wish I had gone this route to begin with. This will provide the experience and quality you’re looking for. The only thing that the other options do better, is space saving. This mixer is fantastic, but it definitely isn’t suited for smaller desk spaces. Make space a consideration. The desk space issue isn’t enough for me to dock a star from this product. ... show more

You’ll see tons of reviews on this product online. It really does the job. I’ve been with the Rodecaster Pro I since it was launched, but could feel the difference in a couple of days. You can do things you couldn’t even imagine with the Pro I. As an advice, I suggest you to read the instructions guide instead of watching YouTube tutorials. The guide is well written and easy to understand and follow the commands. ... show more
