The media could not be loaded. This is one video switcher that has made my productions seamless. With combined Cristal clear audio, I can’t ask for more. I was so excited to get this item. But I have to say this is the worst product that Rode has ever made. Not a true all-in-one live streaming product as advertised. Too complicated to configure from a computer, the software features are too basic. Definitely not worth 1200. Also took it out to update and it would not come on. No Power whatsoever. The media could not be loaded. This is a great tool. Build quality is great, everything feels solid, knobs feel secure, there is a internal fan because it gets hot. Lots of options for different scenes and audio and video inputs. Connection to a windows 11 computer is very easy. The RODECaster App is functional and easy to get used to. The touch screen is very responsive and easy to use. XLR inputs seem clean and support 48V phantom power. Here are the steps I went through: 1. download the RODECaster app (NOT RODE Central) 2. Update the firmware, very easy and only takes a couple minutes. 3. Setup your audio and video inputs. NOTE: When connecting to a computer, one USB connection is only for changing settings by way of the RODECaster App. A different USB connection is used for allowing the RODECaster Video to be a device that the computer sees for getting mic and video inputs. So if you plug your computer to the device and you only see the device in the RODECaster App, then you need to either plug a second USB in from the device to your computer or switch USB outputs to also allow either getting the audio and video to show plus changing settings via the app, or just one at a time with a single cable. Overall, I am very pleased with it. Setup was easy going for me. There are lots of settings and adjustments for audio, quick access to chrome key for green screens. Multiple customizable scenes. One thing that I do wish was a bit better would be the corner stabilization on the scene and video input buttons. I did not think that part felt big money $$$$ premium. ... show more
