my daughter loves it but wish it was a bit lower in price
So this year my daughter asked for a play cheese grater for her play kitchen her 4th birthday. She also likes to pretend to peel vegetables and didn't have a pretend vegetable peeler so when I saw this set I was excited. I do feel like it's a little high price for the amount of items that come in the set, which is my reason for 4 stars. What I do like about it, in addition to the grater and peeler, is that the vegetables (with the exception of the carrot) are all ones she did not have and she also didn't have a piece of cheese that comes apart like this one. Also the vegetables are all wood and good quality (like our other Hape kitchen toys) and the felt on top of the turnip is pretty sturdy/good quality. The knife is pretty realistic looking (which my daughter loved) and that, along with the peeler and the grater, are very thick and sturdy plastic. The cutting board could actually be a real wood cutting board. So overall happy with the purchase as I feel like it's good quality, and the set made my daughter very happy, just wish it had been a bit more reasonably priced.

Two-Year-Old Grandson Loves!
My two year old grandson LOVES this veggie cutting set!! He will sit and chop veggies for hours. Great for dexterity skills. This is his third Hape brand toy that has turned out to be one of his favorites! Hape is a German company that makes high quality, simple toys that spark a child’s imagination. It is totally worth the slightly higher price tag. I will be purchasing more toys from this brand. Highly recommended!

Hape doesn’t disappoint!
Got this for my two year old who initially had some difficulty cutting the pieces apart as the Velcro was strong, but after a couple days, he had no problem and is really enjoying it! I also purchased the fruit set and the pot/pan stove set from Hape. Makes a great cooking toy set! Love Hape products!

wood parts are good， tomato stem is plastic
the only problem is that the stem on the tomato is plastic and has a strong smell. Other parts are good.

Perfect addition to play kitchen
Super cute - purchased this for the grater and peeler (both plastic) for my daughter’s play kitchen. She loves to “make chips” by grating the wooden potato.
