The battery of tests Nightforce developed to ensure the ruggedness of the NXS scopes became the standard by which all Nightforce scopes are tested. This includes the side and front impact - a test that would destroy ordinary optics. The NXS family is a legend to Nightforce and that legend lives on in all our products. After sighting in your gun, simply set the ZeroStop, and you create a positive mechanical stopping point at your chosen zero point. Then, no matter how many elevation adjustments you make, turning the elevation knob down to the ZeroStop setting returns you to your original zero, completely by feel—even in total darkness or while wearing gloves. Nightforce’s analog illumination system powers adjustable brightness, red illuminated reticles in most NXS scopes. NXS scopes with analog illumination are turned on by pulling the illumination control knob out and brightness is adjusted using a small screwdriver. DigIllum digital reticle illumination technology is available in select Nightforce scopes. As Nightforce’s premier illumination system, Digillum increases convenience and functionality in a single button control. Choose the appropriate illumination setting for your lighting conditions—either red or green, in five intensities from very dim to extremely bright.
