This is great for weeding the vinyl from the Cricut machine items. I would by far recommend paying the fee dollars more and getting this kit over the cheap imitation ones that don’t work. My daughter used this one and had her very intricate shirt weeded in 10 minutes. And it had some very small cuts that the off name brands would never have been able to weed. I just happened to find this set online while doing a crafting search. This is an absolute must have for any crafter. I use this set for weeding out vinyl and have even used the various tools for misc things around the house. I was using a quilting needle at first but my hand would lock up which became painful. These seem to be genuine OEM (Cricut), which is hard to find amongst all the cheap clones, but there it is. It's a good selection, although I wish they had included a scraper. (I bought one separately.) I like the colors on the handles as a cute touch. My only complaint is that the fine points are easily bent if you drop these from a height. (Me, drop things?!) Luckily, you can bend the points back into a straight line with some pliers. Other than that, these tools have worked just great. Very pleased with these. Don't waste your money on a cheaper, generic set. If you craft on a regular basis, one set of weeding tools probably won't last you a lifetime, but this set will stay sharper and last longer than the cheaper sets that are out there.

These are pretty essential for any person creating vinyl decals with a Cricut or Silhouette machine. I use them all the time. Although a basic weeding tool can work in many situations, these tools are useful for very small pieces and intricate patterns.
