  • Perfect Fit, Great Protection
Size: for Pentax K PK Mount
Works perfectly with my Pentax K1000. Both caps fit securely and feel durable. Great for keeping dust off the mirror and lens. Simple, affordable, and does exactly what it should. Highly recommend for any K-mount camera user!

  • ALMOST OEM at LESS THAN ⅓ THE PRICE
Size: for Pentax K PK Mount
I must admit that there are a few things I'm willing to pay OEM prices for. When I compared the OEM caps versus the Hoage Body and Rear Lens caps the only difference I could see was the Body Cap did not "Lock" into position. The "Rear" Lens Cap fit snuggly. Hoage Caps come in a "Pair" set, i.e., Body & Rear Lens cap. The price of a Hoage set was less than ⅓ the cost of a single OEM Cap. The quality, material thickness and quantity approaches that of the OEM Body and Rear Lens Caps. The only difference for my OEM items was that the Body Cap did not "click lock" in place. Therefore, in this instance there was no justification to purchase OEM. HERE'S THE BOTTOM LINE (for me). I purchased THREE SETS OF CAPS (Body and Rear Lens cap) for LESS THAN I would have paid for ONE OEM CAP. I highly recommend checking out the Hoage replacement Camera Body and Rear Lens Caps if you are in need of a cap. You may not want to take the time to read the article I wrote below. It is "A QUICK LESSON ON HOW I BUY virtually any and everything." (Copyright S. Lee, 2021 (Rev 2.17) May be used and Reprinted without permission. I REALIZE THE NEXT ITEM YOU PURCHASE DOESN'T LIKELY HAVE A LOT TO DO WITH BUYING A $7 LENS CAP, BUT THE FRUSTRATION OF HAVING TO DEAL WITH POOR QUALITY, OPEN ITEMS & SECONDS AND/OR A LOUSY VENDOR DOESN'T HAVE TO COST ME MUCH BEFORE I FIND MYSELF "EXPLODING" INSIDE. - - SO - - here is - - A QUICK LESSON ON HOW I BUY 'ANYTHING' (not just from Amazon) - - With everything, every manufacturer and vendor under constant scrutiny on the Internet, spend some time getting "Independent Reviews" from companies that do this professionally, what people say about a vendor (before and after the sale), if you consider this a Major Purchase for you, i.e., car, dishwasher, washer/dryer, camera, electronics, etc.; all the while trying to answer the questions most important to you. Only you can decide how much of a $$ loss and how much 'frustration' you are willing to endure and 'write off' as a lesson learned. Just be sure to write an open, unbiased evaluation, so you help others and let them know what they may be getting in to, if they buy that item or use a particular vendor. And... always ask yourself how much more are you willing to pay for qualify and peace of mind? (Remember- Politeness matters!) When it comes to Amazon, I look at the reviews of every other manufacturer and if there were things that I did not like upfront. I begin with looking for those that appear to be greater than 4.5 and the number of reviews; followed by how Amazon asked buyers to consider certain criteria. (Note: For whatever reason, it is not uncommon for Amazon to ask for evaluations that have nothing to do with the product.) If it's 'important to me, e.g., technology, I always go to the bottom and find when Amazon first started carrying the item. I'm not too concerned if a piece of plastic has been carried since 2003, but "electronics", I doubt I'll look at a Router from 2017... Not unless the basic design was excellent and they have continued to make updates; especially to speed and bandwidth. Next, I look at how current the reviews are. I ALWAYS start by reading some of the "1s". Why are people unhappy? What are they telling me versus. "This is a piece of @##$. From there, I look at what percentage the "5s" and "4s" make up is? Do they equal ~90% of the reviews, and what percentage are the "5s". If I'm happy with all of the "raw" data, I'll start reading why people like the item the purchased and when they bought it. All the while I'm looking for individuals that UPDATEd their review. It's relatively easy to scan for and find Negatively updated reviews and why their opinion changed, e.g., failure outside the 30 day Amazon return to warranties not be honored or vendors not replying. - - One Final Note - - If you find yourself in this situation, remember you always have DISPUTE options through the Credit Card Company. I will commend Amazon for reversing charges for me where they determined I had made "Due Diligence" efforts to resolve the matter through the vendor without success. AND. I WAS POLITE, NOT CONDEMNING , BLAMING or THREATENING. I just told them, "I need your help and don't know what else to do. Maybe I got a very special representative. OR. maybe it is because they as a very good company, offering a customer a refund because it was the right thing to do. Whatever the reason - KUDOS!!! (Note: The only problem is finding out how to Chat with someone or have them call me again, if needed. It did take time and effort; and I doubt I could easily find it again.) ... show more

  • Perfect fit for my old Olympus camera body and lenses

I have an Olympus E 500. I was looking for a 4/3 body cap and back cap for my lens. This absolutely fits the bill. Perfect fit, no play at all. Fantastic price, and keeps my gear nice and safe.

  • good grade of plastic
Size: for M42 42mm Mount
For the low price, the quality of the plastic is good. I have had problems with other brands that cross thread too easily on M42, blamed on the soft plastic that does not mate well on the initial turn. This causes the threads to mush down, and subsequently cross thread to the metal of the lens.
