Two nights in, and my head has found its happy place. These pillows arrived shrunk down tight, vacuum-sealed. But don't let their small size fool you. They inflate into mountains of fluffy comfort. As a side sleeper, I crave squishy support, and these deliver. They're soft enough to mold to my head and neck, yet firm enough to keep everything aligned. They're perfect for squishing up into a custom pillow just for me. They make me even more excited to climb into bed at night, as if I needed any more reason. I haven't gotten to try out the cooling feature, because it's January in New England...so everything is cold to the touch. However, that part really wasn't important to me. Mostly, I like that these pillows are big and cozy and squishable.

Pillows came vacuum sealed. After taking out we gave 24 hours for them to fully inflate. They inflated to a good size. They are soft but not too soft. Perfect for kids or guest bedroom which is where I am using.

First Appearance: Arrives vacuum packaged; it would be interesting to see how these things are put in there. Caused me initial concern they were pillows. See photos. 24 hrs. later, you have fluffy pillows. Construction: Product information states the pillow is constructed of "Down Alternative", "100% polyester". It doesn't indicate if the polyester is natural, synthetic or combination of both. Guess it doesn't really matter, I'm just curious that way. Product seems well made, but "Down alternative" does not equal the real "Down". Performance: It's a pillow on the firm side, a little too firm for me for head support. BUT: everybody has their own preference, don't let me dissuade you. It all depends on how you are using it, back support would be perfect for this pillow. Didn't notice anything about the temperature effect claim, but that could just be me. Summary: Good effective pillow for the price point.

These pillows came so vacuumed sealed they fit in my mailbox. That caused me to be a little concerned but when I took them out of the plastic they plumed up so much that you only need the 2 pillows!! They are super comfortable as well.

I prefer a rather flat, rather thin pillow under my head versus a thick pillow that props my head up as it bends my neck too much. I have sleep apnea and I need my neck to be in a rather straight line. These are not very thick but they are comfortable for me. If you prefer a thick pillow like my wife does then these are not for you. Also, they do tend to stay cooler than other pillows I have tried so no need to flip these as often due to one side getting hot.
