I got this TV for the bathroom. It's basically a mirror with a screen that comes on. You would not be able to tell that it's a TV unless you inspect it. It is crystal clear and sharp and functions as an excellent mirror. To start off, this TV is way heavier than I expected. I have to assume there's a reason related to the durability and water resistance. The TV does experience MILD fogginess, but it's very mild. I installed it at first on a rolling stand to decide where I want to put it. I tested it in the kitchen, the garage and then the bathroom with this mount. Here are the things I love about it: - Solid picture quality - Solid build - Includes instructions and not really that hard to mount if you follow the instructions - Good Size - It comes with 2 remotes one labeled as water resistant and the other is not Here are the things I dislike about it: - The weight is a bit much, but that's not the problem; the problem is the edges are sharp, so you REALLY feel the weight cutting into your hands when you handle it. - It comes with 2 remotes and has to be pointed at just the right angle for either of them to work. I don't want to advocate for a touch screen on a mirror because that makes things worse for viewing, but the remote controls or at least the sensor in the TV needs to be better. - The cable power system is clunky - AND the biggest issue, the speakers are not just bad, they make the TV hard to use without a soundbar or external speakers. With all that said, the TV was easy to set up, not difficult to mount but the user experience is lacking. The CUSTOMER SERVICE is EXCELLENT though if I might add. They respond quickly and resolve trouble shooting issues. If they address the speaker, remote control and power cord issues, polish the corners and edges of the TV, this would be a banger of a product.

I mounted this in our eat-in kitchen in a spot that doesn't get hot, but is at risk of excessive humidity and/or spatter. The standard included mounting bracket is simple but sturdy. There are VESA 200x100mm holes for other mounting options. The TV itself is quite heavy for its size, and I assume this is due to the waterproofing and/or mirror finish. The mirror finish is effective and clear when the TV is off and gives the TV a neutral, non-electronic look (other than one red LED). Unfortunately, the mirror finish is not an electronic display trick: the surface is simply reflective. Depending on the mounting height and your lighting fixtures, everything can end up reflected even while the TV is on. This may be reduced somewhat with a mount that angles downward, but the included mount is flat against the wall. The TV quality is as expected for an HDTV. The sound quality is tinny and very mediocre, and would benefit greatly from adding a soundbar. This is probably the biggest letdown for something I hoped would not require extra add-ons. I haven't found a smart TV with base software I've been impressed by. This is no different. It's unclear whether the user benefits more from going to the Google Play store or the "Whale TV" (built-in software/homescreen) store, but Google Play has more variety and more thorough reviews. But, Google Play has many FEWER apps available for TVs than for other devices, i.e. Google Calendar and similar 'standard' apps from other devices are unavailable. Customer service was helpful with some issues, but updated instructions would be helpful. For example, my manual had two places where a USB receiver/dongle was mentioned that would make the remote voice commands work. I did not get that receiver and searched the packaging repeatedly for it. Customer service helped by sending me the pairing instructions for the remote which does NOT actually need a receiver, which was a relief. Also, for better or worse, this unit does not automatically receive firmware updates. I'm rating this for the narrow use of mounting over a bathtub without lighting/reflection issues, because that is what it is intended for. For any other uses, consider the possible caveats carefully.
