I bought this before it had any reviews because it was one of the very few options with a low ramp. Our rescue hen has trouble walking so jumping or climbing are basically no go's for her. I needed something that was low and easy for her to navigate to get inside, and this is perfect. The roof was a little tricky to get together properly. The run is a little small and iffy too. But we have this set up inside a bigger inclosure so our girls aren't cramped inside. We covered the run and hung their food in that area. We've had snow storms and rain and I haven't noticed any leaks. All in all, I would say this is great if you have 2 or 3 chickens. I wouldn't house more than that in there. How it would preform on its own against predators, I don't know. ... show more

I like that this was an easy cage to put together. I did it by myself under an hour, I upgraded our pet regions nation house. We made shelves for him instead of the perches that were included. Cute. Too narrow to be useful for rabbits. Wood is flimsy. After 4 days raccoon ripped the door off the hinges. It's absolute garbage. Not to mention it's wired backwards. To keep predators from getting in you put wire outside the frame not inside where they can push in to pop the staples out. I didn't realize I could return it. Perhaps I will because even if I fix it the wood is so soft a child could rip the screws out. ... show more

This cage is obviously made by someone very talented. Unfortunately, the material they use is not good. Whoever made it are not bird people. We have 6 parakeets but one got out of the cage when I open and feed the birds. Because there is no other way to get inside without opening that big door in the front. We only had this cage for a week but our Parakeets chewed the heck out of it already which will lead to more birds gone eventually.     • Easy to build but not the strongest for weathers of all kinds

So we have 2 chickens and a rooster so size is good. While putting this coop together (had my 10 year old hold up pieces as I got them together. Was not hard to assemble but there were parts of this coop that could have been built better. Like the “garden” roof part. It was held up mostly by a little nailed in pierce of wood which I had to nail in with. Offer nails and nail that top to the rest of the bottom to make it note stable. The coop run to go into the coop itself snapped very easily. And the inside of the coop had to be screwed in closer with my own screws again to make sure the bottom did not cave in. Great size, easy to put together and it helps if you have a second person to help; it’s made of wood so yes the rabbit does chew on it but I fully expect this of any hutch. Well made; we love it!
