This is the second attempt at getting this set without having it damaged during transit. Trying to work with the vendor (Hanover) was frustrating beyond belief. I would speak with one person, who would have to notify ANOTHER person to contact me. There were two attempts to get a replacement table, which had damage that could cut the skin. The first time I was eventually told via email that a replacement was on it's way. The transport company called to set up a delivery date/time. The day before the delivery, I received a call saying the product never showed up in their facility, and I should contact the vendor (Hanover)! This contact went just like it did the first time, except I never heard from the 2nd person that was to contact me. It was Amazon that came through and got things straightened out. They ended up having a whole new set shipped to me. That set arrived today and the table has the same sort of damage as the first one did! Hanover doesn't seem to have people that are capable of packaging a product to fully protect it while in transit. I will not be buying their products again. ... show more

The Good: This is great value compared to similar quality -- at least half the price less versus buying in any of the many patio furniture stores around the San Diego area. The fabric and overall look is exceptional high quality. The light weight of the chairs is a plus, plus they stack. The Not So Good: Putting it together should not have been a challenge, but there were manufacturing errors: 1. One bolt receptacle for a table leg had incorrect threading, thus I could not screw in a bolt. It should be fine with the other bolts, but there is no excuse for such. 2. One of the 4 supporting table leg braces was manufactured with the bolt insertion hole off 1/2 inch from the accompanying receptacle. I had to file away the extra 1/2 inch so this supporting brace (highly important part) could be attached. How did this poor construction occur and pass inspection?? ... show more

I was contacted by CEVA (Freight service company) within forty eight hours of ordering this set from Amazon to arrange a delivery date. We live in a very hilly neighborhood of narrow streets that poses navigation problems for large trucks. No problem for the CEVA team though. They parked in front of the house and shuttled both boxes up our steep driveway and carefully delivered them where I requested. I unpacked the chairs first, which come fully assembled (yeah!) and was pleased to find that the arms, legs and top edge of each chair was protected in bubble wrap and cardboard. The fit and finish of the chairs is excellent. The rich, dark color is complimented by subtle bronze highlights. The lighter colored seat fabric is a beautiful contrast to the darker chair color. The chairs are very lightweight (easy to move), yet sturdy, and provide ample support. The angle of the seating makes for a very comfortable chair whether relaxing on the patio or seated at the table for an outdoor meal. I like the fact that the chair back is tall and gently curved, allowing one to rest their head slightly back. The cast aluminum tabletop is light enough to move once assembled, yet very solid feeling. The tabletop features an interwoven lattice pattern that is detailed in design and very attractive, even elegant. All of the nuts, bolts and bolt covers are shrink wrapped together and all parts arrived as indicated. Leg assembly instructions are clear and straightforward. While a small open end wrench is provided by the manufacturer, I would recommend using a socket wrench. The assembly can be done in ten minutes or so if you do. The tabletop must be laid, upside down, on a flat surface to attach the legs. Save the large piece of cardboard in the shipping container to lay the tabletop on during assembly. The tabletop does have an umbrella hole and a matching umbrella base and umbrella is available. A beautiful addition to the patio! ... show more

Nice set but one big problem! The holes for the table legs do not align with the table to attach. My husband had to “ improvise” and it took about two hours for him to do this! However, the table does look nice but frustrating after you spend $1000.00, ugh!

I love this outdoor dining set. Very sturdy and comfortable. The chairs come fully assembled and the table was easy to assemble. I love that it’s aluminum, which makes it lighter to move around. Worth every penny to me.

I chose this set for 3 reasons...stackable chairs, home delivery and price. Delivery to curb was seamless. Although upon unpacking, there was a small dent in the table frame. Assembly was not too complicated. The other negative is the fit and finish of the chairs.There are several burrs on the underside of the arms of the chairs that have to be sanded smooth or you’ll rip your hands open. Everything about this product has been great except the task to put the legs on the table. There are two bolts provided (D - Short) and (E - Long). My 3/8's socket wrench worked with the E's. Although I have a lot of sockets none worked on the D's. It only took my wife and I two hours to install the legs on the table; however, it would have been much less time if the two types of bolts were both 3/8's. ... show more
