Ordered the motor in March 2025. Received it quickly but quickly noticed the box was severely damaged I could even see that in the confirmation delivery photo. (Not going to bash the shipping company but they wouldn’t even try to help said I had to contact the seller) Contacted seller and explained the cowling cover and recoil starter was broken and after couple emails through this site with some pictures they sent me replacement parts. I requested parts to fix it even though the seller said I could return the motor and they would send another one. Very easy process and it has been running great. Planes out my 14 foot Jon boat quick even with 3 people and gear in it.

Compact and powerful engine for small watercraft. Attractive look and paint scheme. Starts on first pull. Controls easy to use and are adjustable. Manual trim and tilt. Tank supplied was large enough to last all weekend. Weight of engine is just on the edge of being too heavy to carry alone. I was able to carry it to the water and mount it without help. Noise levels equivalent to a small lawn mower. Follow break in procedure and fueling outlined in manual.

The media could not be loaded. When I open the box, the lid was not on the motor. I followed the directions to break in the new motor added the fuel with two cycle oil. Put new oil in the lower unit got it running, and then realized the lower housing bracket by the latch was broken. So the lid cannot be secured to the motor.
