I usually do not want to open a large sewing machine when sewing things by myself, but this handheld sewing machine saved my life. Before going out, I found that the hem of the skirt was opened. Just started messing around with this mini sewing machine, and it’s been fine for light work. I mostly use it on things like pillow seams or curtains that loosen up after a while. The machine itself is small enough to carry in a tote, which is kind of nice for someone like me who’s always multitasking. It doesn’t take up space and actually came in handy the other day when I noticed a loose hem on my jeans before heading out. It handled the denim decently well.

This Handheld Mini Portable Sewing Machine is very simple to operate and the instructions are easy to understand. It's all super easy step-by-step. I love that this has 2 speeds, and it automatically self-feeds the fabric through to the left. All I do is guide it in the direction I need it to. The tension keeps up with the stitches. Awesome! It comes with a little sewing kit, essentials for the sewing machine, a USB cord, and can also operate with 4 AA batteries...very convenient. This is great for travel and quick-fixes on clothing "emergencies". Great little hand held machine and good value.

Got it to fix some home things—mainly curtains and a denim apron—and it stitched through both without any struggle. What’s really helpful is the USB option for power, so I can plug it in right at my desk. I like how it lets you change speeds too, which made it easier when I was working on narrow corners. Also, it’s not too loud, which is a bonus since I usually do this stuff late at night.
