It comes loaded with many old school games, most of which are simple for them to figure out on their own. I liked that it was ready to play right out of the box, and it can also be connected to the TV through the AV cable when we want a bigger screen. During a long drive to visit relatives, my kids shared turns playing it in the back seat. It literally helped keep the car peaceful for hours. The screen is bright enough, and even though the graphics are basic, the gameplay feels smooth and stable. I also appreciate that it charges quickly and holds power long enough for several play sessions. When I’m chatting with friends or cooking dinner, the kids sometimes sit on the sofa with it and enjoy the mini games. The sound quality is fine, not too loud or sharp. I would not call it high end, but for something this compact, it does its job well.

Did not come with battery, so this whole thing was absolutely useless upon opening. My son was beyond disappointed. Even so, the thing is a very poor quality and cheap feeling and looking. I would have kept it because I hate retunring things, but we can't play it without the "powerful rechargeable battery" they so conveniently forgot to include with this item (box even advertises that it is included). Soooo beyond irritated and disappointed. What a rip off!
