A fun, inexpensive version of a standard Nintendo Gameboy. I also ordered this company's version of what would be the standard Nintendo switch, and while not quite at the same level, I was surprised by how good it was given the incredible cost (especially ly compared to the astronomically priced switched). This version is in a similar vein, providing good graphics and tons of fun games (which are built into the system- no extra games need to be bought!) that include things alike a street fighting game, a racing game similar to Mario Cart, tons of sports-related games like tennis, golf, basketball, baseball, darts, ping pong, soccer, etc. that are reminiscent of the Wii Fit, as well as all sorts of puzzle games and mind trivia games that are great for learning. Kids of all ages (& give my enjoyment playing with it, adults too) will be entertained and occupied by this, making it incredible for road trips or plane rides, and again you can't beat the cost for value.

This game system has a bunch of games on it. The manual has instructions for a handful of games, the rest you have to figure out yourself. Some are pretty easy to figure out, but there are some I just gave up on. It does kind of suck that there are no save/progress points. If you mess up, you start from the beginning and that gets old real fast. The graphics are 16 bit, at best, so I wonder if modern day kids would be into it. I gave this to my 9 year old nephew who is obsessed with any and all video games. He loves it, but he hasn't actually played with it yet. I think he just likes that it's vintage, lol.

I ordered this handheld game console as a gift for my daughter, and overall, it's been a decent little device for the price. It comes preloaded with 220 retro-style games, most of which are simple and fun (think old-school arcade or NES-style games). The 3.5" screen is surprisingly clear, and the rechargeable battery lasts a few hours—perfect for car rides or short trips. That said, the build quality feels a bit cheap, and some of the games are duplicates or mislabeled. It’s definitely not a high-end console, but for a budget-friendly gift or travel toy, it does the job. Just don’t expect anything too advanced.

I originally picked this up because I thought it would be a fun little toy to keep on hand, but honestly it’s turned out to be way more useful than I expected. As a neurodivergent person, I sometimes get really overstimulated when I’m outside or in busy environments. Having this handheld game console with me has been such a big help. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, I can pull it out and let my brain focus on something lighthearted and fun, and it genuinely makes those situations more manageable. The console itself is really well designed. The 3.5’’ IPS screen is clear and bright, so it’s easy on the eyes, and the size makes it comfortable to hold. The buttons are responsive without feeling cheap, which I really appreciate. The 220 built-in games are on the simple side, but that’s what I love about them — they don’t require a ton of thinking or complicated controls, so they’re perfect when I just need a quick distraction. At the same time, they’re still fun enough to keep me engaged, whether it’s a puzzle game, platformer, or just something silly to pass the time. Another big plus is that it’s rechargeable. I don’t have to worry about carrying around extra batteries, and the battery life actually lasts longer than I expected. It charges quickly and is ready to go again whenever I need it. This little console is marketed as a great gift for kids, and I can totally see why — it’s safe, easy to use, and portable. But I also think it’s wonderful for adults who want a fun way to decompress or, in my case, redirect my focus when the world feels a bit too loud. I’ve already gotten a ton of use out of it, and it’s one of those things I like to keep in my bag just in case. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It’s simple, nostalgic, and surprisingly effective at helping me manage overstimulation while also giving me something fun to look forward to. Highly recommend!

I'm a collector of handheld video game consoles and have several of the emulation retro consoles as well, so I didn't have high expectations for this, but was curious about the design. I have to say that I am very impressed with this device! I think it is definitely designed for kids to use - it is easy to hold in the hands and the buttons and d-pad are all good quality (MUCH better than other cheap emulation handhelds). This device isn't for emulation - in fact as far as I can tell the games all look original, but inspired by classic games and themes. The quality of the games themselves I would say are a bit better than 16-bit consoles in graphics as sprites look higher in resolution than I expected. Performance of some of the games (there's a fighting game!) is a bit slow, but should be ok for kids anyhow. Overall, I think this console is a GREAT way to introduce kids to retro style games without all the complication that tends to come even with cheap emulation handhelds. There's a huge selection (and no duplicates as far as I can tell) and everything just works easily. Even though there are other emulation hand helds out there at this price point, this one is just the easiest, no maintenance/setup options to be able to trust your kids with. Pick-up and play at its best with simple, but fun games!
