Unit looks nice, but its deceptively light meaning probably not very sturdy or well constructed. Lots of games and systems emulated but the controls aren't the strongest, response wise, so don't expect to play any games with fast and precision button control. Honestly it’s hard to navigate and even harder to find any games. It’s like guessing and hopefully there is a game in the are you clicked. I’m sure there are better ones out there but this is alright.

I'm not sure why everybody is putting this game system down. I've had no problems with mine. The controls are responsive, it hooks up to the tv, there's no lag, and games load easily. I also haven't run into any duplicate games. Sure it's made out of cheap lightweight plastic and the screen doesn't go as bright as I'd like but I wasn't expecting much for $46. It seems like people are looking for the quality of a Playstation PSP at a $46 price tag. It's just not gonna happen. But like I said it's a solid system for $46 with 900 plus games. I just don't see the problems that everybody else is talking about in their reviews. Either they have incredibly bad luck or I have very good luck by getting a system that I've had no problems with. The buttons are stiff when you first take it out of the box but they loosen up after playing it for 1 or 2 days. ... show more

    • Very short battery life
Enjoyed the many games which came with x7 along with being able to install other games. However very delicate game for kids, slightest bumps or knocks will make the screen freeze distort and need to be reset. Battery life is horrible at best, and finally died after about two months use by a 6 year old. Buttons stick and don't flow smoothly, not all games work. In the end it was worth $40 for 2 months of entertainment but will be upgrading to the x12 and see how that goes. ... show more

    • Not all games play and breaks easily
My son was very excited to get this game console. Both he and I had fun playing the games. Some of the games will not load which is a bummer. But, there are a ton of games so there is always something to choose from. However, after 5 days the screen was messed up and the unit was no longer usable. I did not return it since I don't know if my son dropped it or sat on it. Nonetheless it was disappointing that it was junk in less than a week. ... show more
