If you want your children to have some brief entertainment and not overload your devices with potentially harmful downloads, then buy this device. Love that it has an SD card so you can load more games. My son accidentally formatted his card so I’ll have to redownload some for him. He was enjoying it before that point. The only issue I had was changing the name in the devices. While I did buy 3 different colors to avoid confusion, my boys insisted on entering their name on theirs. But, the names won’t save. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong there. Minor issue that doesn’t affect its playability at all! ... show more

Perfect product for my little one who is not always the most gentle on items. There are lots of games on the device however finding the games is a little confusing at times wish it was easier to search for a game by titles.

Granted, it's only $40, but this emulator system is a piece of s***. I have used many emulator console systems in the past with varying levels of usability and have been looking for a quality dedicated handheld emulator as returning to the office and commuting is becoming increasingly difficult to avoid. My Android phone can support multiple emulators, but the lack of tactile feedback when trying to use the d pad or buttons is always the Achilles' heel of any virtual emulator. I find myself screaming about the lack of responsiveness when I think I'm touching the d-pad area on the phone's touchscreen only to then look away from the game screen and find that my fingers are hitting a dead zone. I've thought that getting an actual emulator handheld hardware would fix this problem. Unfortunately, the cheap handhelds on this site usually do not have any way of loading one's own ROM's and the ones that do have this capability are usually upwards of $150-200, which is rather steep for no guarantee that one's curated collection over the past 20 years would actually work. I took a chance on this $40 system that claims it allows for adding one's own ROM's, but it is extremely overpriced for what it actually delivers. I would not pay $4, much less 4 cents for this system. All of my ROM's for all of the supposedly supported systems are zip files, none of which are recognized by this device. I have to unzip ALL of them to get them to even be recognized, and even then, few of them actually work even though they all work on Pizza Boy on my Android Phone or other older emulators on various tablets I've accumulated over the past 10-15 years. In addition, while the description says that Game Boy games are supported, when you go into the Games area on the device, there is no Game Boy emulator, only Game Boy Color. While Pizza Boy does not make a distinction, on this device, when you you connect it to your computer, there are separate Game Boy and GBC folders. However, there is no Game Boy emulator when you go into Games, and no matter how one stores the Game Boy ROMs, they all say "Invalid Format" when you try to open them either in the GBC emulator or going directly to the Game Boy folder and trying to open them. Lastly, the D-pad is a piece of c---. Pressing any direction results in the character you are controlling going 180 degrees the opposite direction or not responding at all. The tactile-less D-pad on my phone's Pizza Boy emulator app is easier to operate. In addition, it does not register diagonal movement at all, making games like Gauntlet or Q-Bert impossible to play.     • Cool but missing some games I wanted

This yellow version of this game console is unfortunately missing some games and it has many others the yellow does not. The blue one has pokemon silver, fire red, blue, leaf green. So Less pokemon on the yellow, only gold and yellow would load the others wouldn't load. Disappointed. It also didn't have Kirby while the blue one did. The sound was also a bit staticy. Screen was very bright, console came programmed in English, battery life was pretty decent at 3 to 5 hours playing Pokemon before needing charging and also you can play while it charges. Also the little analog sticks are cute but kinda useless, they do work but like there too flush to the console. Overall I love pokemon so getting even one file to work properly is a win to me. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. it has up to 40 of my favorite games, including harvest moon, pacman, sonic, pokemon, and much much more. the screen quality is pretty good. saving cannot be done in game but you press B select and start together and save game, then you just go to load game and to the saved block. see the video. theres five blocks for each game. the sound is a little tinny. but for $40 it’s worth it. at a used game store here gba is $110 and games $20-$50, gbc $80 games $15-$30. in comparison this is much cheaper. ... show more

This console is not too bad for the price. Everything looks great on this units screen. Not very good viewing angle but very sharp and bright and clean for a cheap lcd. Everything else is just OK but good enough for me. Alot of screen tearing noticed on intros and such but not during gameplay. Controls are alright but not the best on the fighting games I tested, with a bit of lag on these as well. Selection of games was very good in my opinion. Especially the arcade games. I was pleasantly surprised. If I see another in a different color I would consider a second purchase. Console does not have much weight to it but I would not use the word cheap. It's a bit smaller than I expected but I like the design now that I have it in my hands. Also the sound quality was WAY better than I expected, I am impressed with the clarity and lack of distortion at decent levels. This ones a keeper for me as long as it doesn't crap out any time soon. ... show more

I rarely I mean rarely leave product reviews but with this device I just had to...for 1 it's 40 dollars....but for 40 dollars the things it can do...if you are familiar with emulators you are going to lose your mind...40 dollars and I wiped most games on the sd card that game with game (8gb)...I put my own classics that I wanted to play.... Genesis games ...game boy color and game boy advance...those only 3 emulators I use on this device...when I say this device will leave u smiling from ear to ear....like literally the best 40 dollars I spent...man I wish I seen this before Christmas...everyone would have got this amazing piece of hardware ... show more
