I only had an SC cable to test the optical functionality, but it worked fine. The RJ45 tester worked as expected, but wasn't intuitive to start the test. This tester is compact and very easy to use. It is comparable to the more expensive than light meters. The backlit screen is bright and easy to read. It has been very handy and accurate so far. It fits in my pocket for easy access when I need it.
