Works great.
Recent purchase for my Mavic Pro Platinum. Original owner still flying. Items operates as described. Just be sure NOT TO COVER the descending sensors. As an aside anyone know of a specific case for this device? or A recommendation for a universal case?

WILL CRASH YOUR QUADCOPTER.
Well it done not work. It blocks the sensor on the bottom of the quadcopter making ascend constantly. I recalibrated the quadcopter still dose not work and it causes the quadcopter to land hard I see why they give you landing gear with springs lol. To bad would have loved to go fishing with it but im not going to risk it.

Disables GPS functions
This item works exactly as described. However tonight i lost my Mavic Pro in the Atlantic Ocean dropping bait for shark. Drone wouldn’t accent only descended on return to home. We did however catch a shark at 1000$ value. The item does work great BUT YOU BETTER PAY ATTENTION TO DRONE DURING FLIGHT. The photo is the last time I saw my DJI Mavic

Close but not there
Uhg....I so wanted it to work. As others have stated, the drone takes off and keeps climbing. Because it interferes with the lower sensor, it makes it difficult to control and drop. Then a leg extension fell off sometime during the flight. Needs some fine tuning and leg extension that don't drop on there own.

Fantastic
This works fantastic. It uses the light on the drone to trigger the drop, I use it for fishing from shore.

Doesn’t work with Mavic Pro.
Not compatible with Dji Mavic Pro, cut out around positioning sensor not large enough and causes interface with the drone’s hovering capability and maintaining altitude. Drone will take off and just continue to climb in altitude without stopping. When trying to bring the drone back by pressing down on the stick, it activates the drone’s landing sequence no matter the drone’s altitude. Don’t waste your time and money.
