    • Incorrect diameter
The springs are 0.385" outside diameter, not 0.375" as advertised. They will not fit in a 3/8" hole. They are designed for 10mm, not 3/8".

These little utility springs are stainless steel, have lots of "spring" being compression springs and have hundreds of uses around the house and garage. I used mine to create friction on an air intake damper for an UDS smoker by placing them on the pivot bolt w/washers. Works like a champ and allows me to make minute adjustments to air flow without worrying about ajustments slipping.     • It's a spring
It's springy. I used by measuring tool to check the relevant dimensions, and everything checked out. I only needed one to replace a spring that had corroded. So I have a spare one bouncing around the house somewhere. Maybe I'll think of something to do with that. The packaging was sturdy and secure.
