My 2 grandsons have fallen in love with this little robot! It’s absolutely amazing what he can do! He is operated with a remote that can be charged with a USB cord or batteries which are included. The robot also comes with batteries. He can walk forward, backward, left, right, & perform a 360-degree rotation. If you press the DEMO button he will perform a personal show. He sings different songs which they love to dance to! They think he’s hysterical! His eye light up, he can close eyes & blink his eyes. He performed quite a show on Christmas Day! The batteries in both the robot & the charger last quite awhile. He is entertaining for any age. I’d say the remote is best suited for a 6yo to operate. My Daughter tells me they play with him daily & to this day he fully works. It’s nice to buy a toy that doesn’t break these days. The $25.99 I paid was worth every penny! I highly recommend!

There is no setup other than putting batteries in the remote and charging the robot with a USB-C cord. Instructions are straightforward and easy to understand. I noticed that the battery seemed to work for quit awhile. Even with me playing with it and my two sons, we did not deplete the battery. The remote works mostly like an RC car but the robot is cute. You can change his eye colors or have him play music. He seemed a little loud until we discovered that you can toggle through the music settings to a silence mode. The hand waving feature is kind of fun but you cannot move the robot with any precision. You will find this to be a perfect gift for any 3-7 year old child.
