I love me a good hammock and have been wanting to get one for my shared courtyard. Now that winter has passed and the sun is peaking out, I finally decided to get one! This hammock stand is super easy to put together, sturdy quality materials, and the hammock itself in the Carnival option has a fun print that reminds me of chilling in a hammock beachfront in Mexico. I am not great at assembling stuff myself but I was able to get this together in under a half hour the first time. Now it would take less than 10 minutes. VERY comfortable for me and our 4 year old. Several other adults have used it too in our backyard and it's been great!

It’s probably just me as I’m not the vets at assembling but I didn’t find the directions that clear Non the less this hammock goes on my balcony and is my go to place for quick 10 minute staycation on my balcony

My wife and I have wanted a hammock for awhile, so when I had the chance to grab this Hammock with Stand Included I took it. The main reason - unlike many where you get the hammock OR the stand, this is a full set, designed to be portable. Could be taken to the beach, park, or when we move. So... is it the real deal? 1. Arriving in the box it was heavy, so we wondered, would the hammock and stand be AS heavy out of the box? Okay... so it was a little lighter. The box made a difference. But don’t be fooled; it’s still a good weight. From the car to a spot in the park or house to backyard it would be fine, pretty easy to get around for most adults. Out to the beach, we’d use the cart to carry it, it’s just too heavy for longer distances to be comfortable. No, did not weigh, but it’s noticeable. Yet with the bag that is included, it is manageable and it is portable. 2. Putting it together: Yes, it is easy and one person can do it easily on their own. That said, TIP: We suggest you watch the video included on the product page. There are instructions included on the outside of the bag - a nice feature that means you have them with all the time and anyone can take it on. BUT... while in some ways intuitive, think of it like a puzzle and you’ve got to get the right part in the right spot, so watch the video. Stop it, make sure you have the right piece in the right place. But once you’ve got it, you’ve got it. 3. The materials for the frame seem strong and made. It held each of our weights - individually. We don’t feel like we’d try to do it together. But the metal seems strong and sturdy. It’s well designed. And well constructed. Far too often things like this that need assembly, you find holes not drilled. correctly and it takes too much effort to line things up. Not with this Hammock with Stand Included - every hole was perfectly set, everything lined up on the first shot, every bolt went in perfectly as well as tightened easily and perfectly. 4. The hammock itself is nice. The material is sturdy and strong, plus it looks nice. We did find that on one end (note pictures) one of the ropes is either cut or unwoven. We cannot figure out from what or to where. We hope that it does not mean it’ll come loose and then useless. This is a disappointment and we really wanted a nice hammock. We were able to tie it off - to the other end of the piece we THINK it was attached to. We hope this holds. Beyond this issue, the hammock is comfortable to lie in. We have taken turns, both with and without the pillow, and both enjoyed our time. It’ll be perfect on breezy afternoons. 5. The pillow is included and we would suggest using it - we both found it far more comfortable with it than without. But it’s not made to match the hammock, which is a minor thing, but it would have been nice. 6. The stitching it great - looks strong and at the least, doubled up. In fact, the stitching is more impressive than the rope, which as mentioned above, has already shown as issue on the one we got. So if the stitching holds - and it appears it should - the ropes - if done right - would be designed to also hold well. 7. There are, I think, 6 holes on the ends for attaching the hooks you’ll use on the ropes to hang it. We have NO idea why at least 4 of them are there. We’re both pretty strong and pulled the ropes over as shown in the product video. We could get them on the top - it hung too low. Then the second, again too low for us. The third where we use it. But we had no way of getting the rope to hang on 4 - 6. And according to the product video, it’s designed not to stretch. So why would you need the extra holes? No big deal, but interesting. 8. There are no tools needed to put this together. You slide the bars into one another and then use the included both with knobs on the end to attach. Very very easy! There are extra bottles and even an extra hook for the hammock, so that’s nice and well thought of. 9. These pieces come in 2 plastic, reusable bags - HOLD ON TO THESE!!!!! You’ll put things back in when you take it down. 10. The carrying/storage bag is great. It’s large enough to fit everything well. It’s well constructed. It zips up easily - but I did hold while my wife zipped. And it’s easy to carry. Instructions on a windowed pocket on the outside. Overall we are pleased with this Hammock with Stand Included and outside the issue with the rope, which is a disappointment, we are pleased. It looks great, it’s well designed, and it is easy to put up and take down. Laying in it is very comfortable and someone could spend a nice nice reading, day dreaming, napping... all the ways one uses a hammock. It’s a great size. It holds a good amount of weight. It looks good. This design and set up is one we would consider getting again - provided it lasts and that rope thing does not become a real issue.

The stand is really nice, the large thumb screws used to attach outer poles and to attach/level the center beam are very easy to install and offer a lot less play than spring loaded pole locks. The fork style design lets it take up a lot less space while still support full length hammocks, and when disassembled it all fits into the provided bag, including built-in assembly instructions and extra pieces (thumbscrew, hook and wing nuts). If the hammock you're using doesn't have various attachment points or length adjustments (like the included one), you can move the hooks up or down the sides to provide more or less tension. For the included hammock I found putting the hooks in the second hole from the top on each side worked perfectly. Overall the stand is great, nice and stable, easy to adjust, are stores compactly in one place with all it's parts, instructions, and spare items. 5 Stars. The included double hammock while nice and comfortable has a few cons with the pros. I liked ropes to the single metal grommet connection point, it made the hammock swing easily while remaining very quiet, unlike metal chain hammocks. The fabric feels a lot more natural than the silk parachute style hammocks, with a soft burlap texture. It's both good or bad depending on your texture preferences. It is coarser on the skin but the individual fibers feel softer than either silk or stretched cotton hammocks. The one thing I wish it had though was a sewn in sack on either side so you could store a book or drink tumbler without have to nap with it or hand it off. Overall though the hammock itself is a solid 4.5 stars.
