Love, love, love this hammock chair! I was looking for something that has a smaller footprint than a traditional hammock and this fits the bill perfectly. It was super easy to put together. I like that the fabric of the chair itself repels water, although I do try to bring it in when it is raining - when I am too late, the water will pool on the chair, and it is easy to just dump it out and then put the chair in the sun to drain. It has held some pretty heavy friends, who were skeptical about it. I love to relax in it and watch the hummingbirds, and so have my guests! The frame feels strong; at the same time, when you sit in it, it will slide a little bit. This can make some people uncomfortable when they go to sit down, like they are afraid they will fall. Overall I love it, and it is my new favorite spot as I relax and recover as a teacher on summer vacation!

This is my first hammock chair, but I don't think it will be my last. Obviously this one is on the cheaper side, I did have issues with putting it together, one of the pieces was dented in a way that nearly made it impossible to connect them. I was able to get them to connect, it ruined the paint, but the outer piece covers it anyway. I was cursing there for a bit though. I have this inside my apartment, and it has been a nice place to relax, specifically it has been really nice on my back and neck which are normally constantly uncomfortable. I was worried that it might scratch on the floor, but I've had no such problems. Given how light it was I expected it to slide around but it really hasn't. But be careful getting in. One day I wasn't careful, and I maneuvered in a way where one of the sides became unlatched and next thing, I knew my butt was on the floor. I quickly recovered, finding I wasn't so much as hurt, so it ended up not being a big deal. Now I know to have a bit more care getting in. A couple more notes. The fabric is a little bit scratchy, but I am sensitive to fabrics, and it might be better once I wash it. It also smelled a bit for the first few days, so it needed some time to air out, I honestly didn't sit in it much at first because of it. I also suspect if it were outdoors, it would not hold up over time in bad weather, so I would consider covering it if it were outside. Overall, however, very pleased with this purchase and will likely continue along this alternative chair route in the future.

Not too hard to assemble by myself. I expect I will have to partially dismantle it in the spring to get it through the door. That will not be hard. I have not yet had it outdoors, but it seems sturdy enough to hold up to the strong winds we get here. The hammock is canvas, not cushioned, but very comfortable. We will see how it holds up to the weather; I expect it will be good for at least a few years, and the hammock itself will be easy enough to replace if it should wear out from weather exposure. It is quite roomy. I have napped in it with my feet tucked in and a cat on my belly. The little plastic "feet" fall off easily, but I plan to glue them on in the spring, and I am not sure they are really essential, anyway.

It took me about 25 minutes to put together by myself. The frame is sturdy, shipped fast, and does not squeal or shift while swinging. Don’t let this lightweight hammock fool you. The frame is Solid! I’m giving 4 stars because the chair itself has some frays straight out the packaging, and It does not come with tools. I fell asleep in this thing on multiple occasions as it’s comfy. I will be ordering a chair replacement soon because of the frays. I don’t want to end up on the floor, lol.

So far I love it. I’m using it indoors in my office/craft room to be able to take a little break and destress when needed. It was easy to put together, you’ll need two wrenches to tighten the support braces, and only took about 30 minutes and that includes putting the vertical bars on upside down initially. It was a little tricky to balance the frame so if you aren’t flexible you may want to enlist another person to help. It feels very sturdy, it makes a slight sound when it swings but it’s not loud and not annoying (not to me at least).

This product is amazingly fun, very sturdy. It’s big, the frame is really nice and the hammock that comes with it is comfy and thick. I am very pleased with it. UPDATE- After using it many times since I purchased it ,I must say this is a fine piece of equipment. Ok , I understand the noise that it makes but some WD 40 can solve that. Overall , it’s sturdy , I feel very confident using it , I have it outside but bring the hammock inside so it won’t get damaged because of the weather here in Florida. If you don’t feel confident take the bent hook to Home Depot and get a longer one , that is a solution but overall I would give it 6 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, oh I did it. 😆😆😆

Seems to be sturdy. Easy to put together. I’m almost 70 and I did it by myself. Instructions are a little vague; but there isn’t much you can mess up! The only time I had trouble was balancing the cross bar at the top and trying to hold it and the screws in place. The swing itself is not padded! You feel you are sitting in a deep sack. I bought two outdoor chair cushions elsewhere. It gives it more form and makes it much more comfortable. For the price you can’t complain considering it comes with the stand. You don’t have to put holes in the ceiling and you can move it around.

I bought one of these a couples years ago and just recently got 2 more the new ones are thiner tubing and way less sturdy. The chair is also different and cheaper construction. They say the stand can hold 500lb and it flexes and under 300lbs.
