I easily passed the strap through the holes on the beam and could place the hammock chair at any height. I spent most of the cruise in this chair. My kids love it, but for a 6’ tall adult the leg portion is short, doesn’t support lower legs, puts pressure behind knees. It seems well made and durable, though but time will tell. Package includes a carabiner but directions don’t explain what it’s for, it’s too small to use it to hang the chair.
