Nice and thick chain. My male doberman now looks like a boy! All the chains I have found in stores are thin and makes him look girly. Unless your doberman is obese then all of the chains in stores will be far too long and easy to slip off when finding one with the thickness a boy dog deserves. This chain is nice and thick- as in wide, like a Mr. T chain, but designed for a reasonably sized dogs neck. (70 lb short hair). I read that it will tarnish under the comments but have yet to see it do that and if it does I will simply clean and oil it, small price to pay for such a beefy and manly fit. Was a little longer than I expected, but it's a bit hard to shop for my Pittie, who's head is bigger than his neck. Lol. I had to get a bigger size because of that, but it's a bit loose on his neck. Product is as suggested and sturdy.

The gauge is a little heavy for my dog (40 lbs but VERY strong), and I wish I'd bought a 19-20" long one instead of the 22", but it seems to be good quality and isn't rusting. However, she only wears it when we go for a walk on the leash and not all the time.

This collar is nice and sturdy. It also came fast. But I bought a 22-inch one because her 20-inch one is getting too short. This one that is supposed to be 22 inches is more like 19.5 inches from the end of the circle to the other end of the other circle. TOO short.
