When at Costco or during a meat sale, this is the ticket. After suffering with an extra (old) fridge in the garage for years with typical 2/3 fridge, 1/3 freezer space, we finally took the plunge. While I don't care to use this as a fridge, the ability to choose between fridge and freezer on the front panel (and go subzero too) is very slick. Tons of no-nonsense space, I opted for this one over the slightly cheaper / smaller unit as their footprints were very close. Was subzero in a few hours and I now have all the costco bounty in it. I really love this stand up freezer. I do not have to bend over to find food. I like that I use my wall space vertically instead of horizontal. It even has an alarm to notify you when you leave the door open. This is a great buy.

Awesomeness!!! My power went out for 48 hours and this thing maintained a 27° temperature. Once the power had been out for a good 10 hours, I took everything that was perishable out of the fridge and put it in the deep freeze as quickly as possible. Literally opening the door and tossing everything as fast as possible, and then slamming it. Temperature with me opening the door and adding all those items in there that we’re not -10° that I have my freezer set at. Once I have the money, I’m going to order another one and use it as a fridge. One thing I do want to clear up right now For everybody reading this review. THE DOOR IS NOT REVERSIBLE. This came as a major disappointment to me because Of where I wanted to put it, but things ended up working out better the way it’s laid out now. I bought the fridge. It would open the right direction as well. I would definitely purchase again and I will. Yeah, has a fast freeze option which I’m not sure exactly what it does but I pressed that when I first got it and I know my freezer got to -10 very quickly. I absolutely love that there is no frost in this whatsoever. It’s just like a regular refrigerator except for really really cold lol I bought it on a lightning deal. I think it was 33% off. Definitely a steal at that price. If I had to, I would buy it at regular price because I do feel like it’s worth it. It checks all the boxes for me and some that I didn’t even know about. So stop and buy it! —I was not paid to write this, and I don’t write reviews very often. Let’s be honest we mostly write reviews when we’re unhappy with things. So I have to be pretty happy with something to write a review and take the time to do it. So remove the other seven freezers you have in your cart and put this one in, Delete the others and buy this lol it really is that easy. I looked at EVERY freezer Amazon has. The unpacking experience was satisfactory, particularly considering the frequent reports of damage to deep freezers upon arrival. Fortunately, this particular unit arrived in good condition, with only a minor scratch on the protective coating of the door. The door seal is exceptionally secure, to the extent that I initially had to hold the side of the freezer to prevent it from moving when opening the door before placing groceries inside.
