Love this coffee pot. Make a whole pot for the morning. Then in the evening if I want just a cup I use the single cup side. Don't have to guess how much to make 1 cup.

What I liked - I can brew either a full carafe or a single cup. I have both ground coffee and K-pods, but can also use ground coffee in single-brew attachment. Excellent brew, can pause to sneak a quick cup of coffee. What can be improved - an attachable water canister would be nice, rather than having to fill it with water each time I want to use it. Pouring water in the resorvoir can be messy if I try to pour too quickly, and the brew time for both the carafe and single cup are exceedingly slow compared to my old coffeemaker. ... show more

Great coffee maker. It make a full pot and a 2nd area to make single drinks. Cup size or larger thermal cup size. We make individual tea or hot chocolate or other hot drinks with the single sreve side. This is probably the 4th one we have bought. Very pleased with this coffee maker! It looks great on my coffee bar it's easy to use and the programmable option is a must when you have family members with various wake up times. The only minor complaint is the pot stays on for 2 hours after brewing, but the option to brew 1 cup or a pot is a plus and it brews nice and hot!! ... show more

    • My Third Hamilton Beach Flex Brew
This was my third purchase of the Hamilton Beach Flex Brew since 2019. I especially like the flex part of this coffee maker where you can make a pot of coffee or just one cup. The only problem I've had and the reason for three purchases is after a year or so (four and a half years this last time), a hose inside breaks and I find water from the reservoir has leaked out all over my counter. The coffee maker is past it's warranty so cannot have it replaced. I enjoy this coffee maker so much, I just reorder the same model knowing all along the hose will probably break within a couple of years. You would think I would learn my lesson. I gave it five stars because of the features it has and it's easy to program but with the hose breaking, it should only get three stars and a caution to future consumers. ... show more
