This collar is your standard dog collar. I feel like it is designed for smaller dogs, but it is adjustable so it might be able to fit larger dogs. I personally have a 4 month old pug and it fit her perfectly. I've adjusted it to the size that she is right now, and still have more room for adjustments so I know it'll still fit for months to come. I got the "hot pink" one, however the color is a lot brighter than shown in the image. It's more of a neon pink than hot pink but it's still a really pretty color so I'm not upset about it at all. I bought this collar for my 8 pound miniature dachshund; it fits well. As others have said, yes, the buckle is hard to use since the collar is an extra-small, but it has to be appropriately sized. The color has faded slightly but I live in one of the sunniest states. One thing I'd like to see changed is instead of a plastic D-ring for the leash to attach, it'd be better to have a metal hook that also accepts collar tags. Because I keep my dog's info and rabies tag on him, by the time I add another loop to attach the tags to, they hang down enough for my pup to chew on the tags. If you don't keep your tags on your dog, or they don't bother their tags, this is no biggie. All in all, it's a good size for a smaller dog; it would likely fit a chihuahua, maybe a small yorkie, or any other small-dog breed with a thinner neck. ... show more

Collar was put together backwards...the buckle was attached to the wrong side of the collar. If you connect the buckle, the ring for attaching the leash is under the collar, next to the dog's skin. If you put the collar on the dog so that the ring is on the proper side, then the buckle is next to the dog's skin. I don't have a camera attachment so I cannot send a photo, but this is ridiculous!
