These were purchased for my son's Halloween costume this year (2021). Upon opening them, they were what was expected. The first time turning them on (once batteries were installed) both worked great and looked really cool. In turning them off and back on again, each of them have a high-pitch whine to them. My son says it doesn't bother him much, but it is noticeable when wearing the mask and really, really annoying. I have not tried to trace where the whine is coming from as I want them to work for Halloween and not to break them before. Do I think that they will hold up? Not a chance, but for the price, if we get 1 day out of them, still way cheaper than a full costume anywhere else. ... show more

I mean they look nice and great for price but the sound is what is bothering me. There is a noise that turns on with the lights and it's quite an annoyance. It is not a sound affect... more like a defect. I did get a double package and they both do the same thing. The kids love them but they give me anxiety sounding like they about to blow up or something.. ... show more

There really cool looking and easy to use but both of them put off a really high pitch frequency noise when turned on. Would not be able to deal with the sound for very long it’s super ear piercing.

These masks looked great for Halloween! Super bright and fairly comfortable. Only down fall is they were slightly flimsy, and the battery pack made a very high pitch ringing noise, but in a loud room, it was unnoticeable.

My kids wore these for halloween and they both liked them however, they did complain that it was hard to see out of them and didn't like that it caused condensation on the inside, maybe some sort of covering on the inside would help and bigger eye slits.
