My mother often tells me I make it "too dark" for Halloween whenever she comes and sees my decorations each year. So this year I set out looking for something that would make it a little less scary. I found these marquee light up letters and I instantly fell in love with them. I started to get a picture in my head of how I wanted to go about adding things to the mantel this time around, and I was very pleased with the results. I'm not sure why the last O comes out looking like a slightly different shade of orange, but I can only guess it might mean I had to change the batteries- as it appeared to be looking a little dim compared to the other two. They are the perfect size for my TV stand. I added one between two light-up ghosts, and it complements them nicely. They have a good light on them, and it's easy to tell it says boo. Very cute, the brightness of the lights is perfect, great size. Options for use are standing or can be hung on the wall. Each letter requires 2 AA batteries. The only con I have is the letter O the battery compartment should of been placed more towards the bottom to give more stability if using these on a table or shelf, other than that I definitely reccomend this cute light set. ... show more

These were great for what I needed on my fireplace. Wish it came with a remote that would take it over the top. It had a fair amount of battery life. They were sturdy plastic letters. It also did a great job with brightness really great! Very lightweight and I think it’s a good value.

They are okay but a little cheap. When lit, the 'B' is not as bright as the 'O's' and if you want to just stand them somewhere, they fall over. They are too light to just sit on a shelf. They are better hung.
