I’m using this in my 10,000gal Koi pond. It’s quiet and puts out a massive amount of bubbles. My Koi like to play in the bubble stream.

    • Works well, but buy your own clamps!
The air pump is solid and produces a powerful output. The weighted hose was just as advertised and sank down into the water effortlessly. The 8 inch air stones were great at pushing out voluminous bubbles. The provided hose clamps must have come from another device. When relaxed, they shouild have been smaller than the hose, so that squeezing them would cause them to open up to be fitted around the connection. They were all larger than the hose diameter and useless in setting up the system. If you buy this aerator system, you will need to provide your own hose clamps. The system works well so far, but has only been operating for a few days. It seems very solid and well made, but time will tell. ... show more

My 15000 gallon Koi pond has 2 air pumps. I bought this pump thinking it was an upgrade. My laguna air pump is cheaper, less wattage and has significantly more bubbles.... Even with my laguna in the deep end at 5.5ft with a longer air hose and the HalfOff brand at 2.5ft, the laguna still out performs this pump. Less air flow. 15 watts more power consumption. $25 more expensive. ouch. ... show more

    • No replacement parts
The pump worked fine for a couple of years then the flow began to degrade. I thought it was primarily due to clogged diffusers so I replaced those, which would improve performance for a short time. This year, i finally took the pump apart and found that the check valves (small rubber flappers) had worn. That's no problem; it seems like a consumable part. But when I tried to source replacements, I found that they are not available from the manufacturer. That's not acceptable for a product that's still being sold. So now a 5 year old pump is worthless for want of a piece of rubber 3/4" in diameter. ... show more

100% hand down the BEST customer service under the sun! when I originally ordered this pump, one of the stones had an air leak in the seam. I called and they sent a new one out. today, my pump just stopped working and I called customer service and to my surprise, they said... "we'll send you a new one, where do you want the tracking number sent" I will always buy from this company ... show more
