I first started using this gel because my barber uses on me after my cut. It's the best gel money can buy, and it isn't cheap for a reason. The gel holds my heavy hair in a combover for the whole day without flakes. Even when it eventually loses its glossy hold due to sweat or rain (it takes a LOT of moisture to lose its hold), the resulting product still leaves a matte, pomade like effect on the hair. The consistency is unlike any other gel, its very thick and almost like a slimy jell-o. A little goes a very long way. The fantastic smell of the gel is just the cherry on top. I just hope they never stop making this product. I know its a boutique brand of hair products and I'm paranoid to find out one day they don't make em anymore. Hairevolution if you're reading this, I'll be a customer for life as long as you're making this gel.

Beyond an amazing smell I have never gotten some many compliments and asked how my hair (or my boys) what I use to keep my hair in place lol. Also amazing product that does not flake when in contact or moved with fingers in hair. Good size that will last a month or months depending on how much and how many heads you use this for. Definitely recommend this product as I will continue to order

So I originally purchased the one pictured, with silver cap, at the barber shop. I really liked it. The one I received has a black cap, as is in my picture. I was worried but it turned out to be even better than the original. Great hold that stays all day and not flaky at all. Great product, will buy again.

As other reviewers say it is getting pricier but why advertise that it’s 13 oz but print out 12 oz? Small and petty but attention to detail goes a long way… I’m a fan of the product as it seems better than others but who knows if the ingredients on there is actually what the consumer is receiving…

We have been through many hair gels with my son, and this is one of the best if not the best. It doesn't fade out as the day goes by, and knows that his hairstyle will stay the way he fixed it in the morning. We also had to work with a hair gel with scent! Him and I (mother) both get migraines as many others have awful scents. This one does seem strong at times, but we do not suffer with migraines with the scent. He has been using this now for over 2 years. Thank you for such a top notch product.

My husband loves this gel! But the lid was cracked and would not screw on. Thank goodness we had old container of same gel he could use.
