Let me start by saying that my hair is weird. Very fine, frizz-prone, wavy to curly, and damaged from bleach. This tool is awesome to smooth and style without making it stick straight. Gives just the right amount of smoothing without fully losing my natural texture. Not for sleek styling.

It does what it’s supposed to do to straighten my wigs. When I use it on my own hair (4C type) the result isn’t as great. It does get fairly hot, and very easy to use.

So although this does straighten it takes forever to straighten the hair it took 3 minutes just for one section I grabbed of hair to straighten it and it smelt awful and it doesn't get any frizz out I guess that because it doesn't completely straighten the hair i just could not get it completely straight and I really couldn't get the ends of the hair straight its like it just doesn't grab onto the ends I also don't think its getting hot enough and I used it on the highest setting and I really had high hopes for this I've always wanted one. Oh and it shuts off in the middle of doing the hair if you take a while I thought it was only doing that when I put it down and left it there for a few minutes but nope it does it while your doing your hair to so they need to fix that but I do like that you can't burn your ears or self on it I really like that feature. I gave it 4 stars because it has some good and some bad but it still straightens some.

I've been eyeing this type of hair straightener for awhile. I finally decided it was time to see what all the hype is about. 1st, I will say that even though this gets close to your roots without burning your scalp, it works best on mid to long hair. The tool itself is very easy to use with simple operational buttons. You know it's ready for use when it stops blinking. I was able to straighten my whole head in less than 20 mins. Game changer! This will definitely be a steady tool in my hairstyling arsenal.

I use this to straighten my extensions because it works quickly and I can get to the base easier than with my flat iron. It does cause a slight frizz but it just works really well and with a good finishing oil and treatment beforehand it works. The reason I skip this for my natural hair is because with continued use, this would fry my hair.

This comb it not the best straightener that I've ever had, but it does work; mainly I appreciate it because it doesn't get to hot so I can use it with my kids because the heating element is under the "comb teeth" so it never does touch their ears or scalp. It does take a while because it is not to hot and it turns itself off when it gets to hot and it does not prevent frizzy hair, I had to add a little oil to their hair to help that. Overall I like it for my kids and I think it would be useful to those that have problems reaching the back of their head with the regular iron like my Mom, who is older and would help prevent the burns in their scalp, ears and arms when trying to get the back of their head.
